Bespoke Curriculum
Prague Japanese School, located at Skuteckého 1388/18 in Praha 6-Řepy, Czech Republic, serves students aged 6 to 15 with a bespoke curriculum that cultivates independent, collaborative learners and an international outlook. Educational goals describe smart, kind, resilient students taught by loving, passionate teachers with strong instructional ability and international-mindedness. Management rests on clear, goal-oriented instruction, collaborative learning, and open, connected classrooms that draw out each student's strengths, with a focus on multicultural understanding and global citizenship. Partnerships with parents, organizations, and the local community, plus robust career guidance, actively support studying abroad, returning to Japan, and progression to higher education. Facilities include six elementary and three middle-school classrooms, science, music, art/craft, technology, cooking, learning, and multipurpose rooms, plus a gymnasium; the campus is owned by the Japanese Association. The school began in 1972 as a supplementary school, opened full-time Prague Japanese School in 1980, and moved to campus in 1996.
