Admissions

Admissions

Freshman admissions: The 2026-27 freshman application opens on Thursday, November 6 for new students, and the deadline to submit is Friday, December 5, 2025. Current NDA students do not re-enroll each year. The online application is completed by creating an Infosnap account and submitting forms including Applicant, Family, School Information, Applicant Release of Records, Home Language Survey, Exceptional Needs, Bus Information, and Emergency Information. The non-refundable application fee is $75, and fee waivers are available by contacting admissions.

Freshman admissions review and decision: The application is reviewed for admission by the Admissions Committee using multiple data sources, including academic report cards from 7th and 8th grade, attendance, behavior records, standardized test results, and confidential middle school placements. The process may include an interview with the principal; the Admissions Committee makes the final decision regarding admission. Admissions outcomes fall into the categories: Admitted; Admitted with requirements; Not admitted.

Transfer admissions: NDA welcomes transfer students at the start of each academic year, with January enrollment at the principal's discretion. Sophomore applicants must have a minimum GPA of 1.8 in academic classes; junior applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 in academic classes. All applicants must have good attendance and disciplinary records, with exceptions possible at the principal's discretion; no transfers are admitted during the senior year. The transfer process requires completing the online application and NDA requesting copies of records from the current school; applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee for admission and a final decision is issued.

International students: NDA welcomes international students from around the world. International applicants must comply with national and international visa requirements; NDA does not offer English as a Second Language (ESL). A passing language proficiency score is required for admission (TOEFL Jr at least 745 or iTEP Slate at least 4.0) and exams must be administered by an official agency. International applicants must work with an agency to apply and secure a host family; NDA issues the I-20 after admission. International students may be admitted for a term between one semester and four years, and a host family guardian arrangement is required.

Scholarships

Funding NDA Education:
- Tuition information (2025-26): Member of Participating Parish $8,380; Member of Non-Participating Parish $9,380; International Student $12,680. The actual cost to educate a student is higher, and NDA relies on benefactors to help keep tuition lower.
- Tuition Grant Program: NDA provides need-based financial aid to families with demonstrated need. More than 50% of students receive financial assistance, with more than $2,600,000 awarded annually. Grants describe the school's aid; scholarships (merit-based) are not offered. Grants are awarded based on a needs assessment using NDA's financial aid software.
- Private School Choice Program (PSCP): NDA participates in the Wisconsin PSCP, which allows income-eligible students from Wisconsin public schools to attend Catholic school tuition-free. Eligible students are freshmen or transfers from public schools; there are application windows (February 2–20, 2026; March 1–20, 2026; April 1–20, 2026; May 1–20, 2026; August 1–20, 2026) and a lottery system. Residency proof is required, and returning PSCP participants may have preferences.
- Scholarships requiring an application (for incoming students only): NDA offers two additional need-based scholarships funded by donors. The deadline to apply is April 17, 2026. The Robert M. Duerr, Jr. Scholarship Fund and the Leo & Fran Frigo NDBA Memorial Scholarship are the two opportunities.
- Other notes: Some Green Bay Diocesan elementary schools offer their own scholarships. NDA does not have a Scrip program. Wisconsin tax credit allowances may apply for tuition reductions (up to $10,000 per student for grades 9–12; up to $4,000 for K–8; moving from 8th grade to high school in the same year may allow claiming both amounts).
- Paying tuition: Tuition can be paid in full or through installments (semester, quarter, or month) via automatic withdrawals; there are associated fees for certain services (e.g., graduation) as listed in the affordability materials. For questions about affordability or grant applications, contact the appropriate NDA office as indicated in the funding materials.
