Billing schedule and payment terms

- Tuition is billed in three terms. Payments are due on: Term 1 – 1 August; Term 2 – 1 December; Term 3 – 1 March. Paying the full annual tuition in advance by 1 August qualifies for a 3% discount.
- Fees are payable in advance. The school may apply a 10% surcharge to overdue payments.
- Withdrawing a student requires two months' written notice or payment of two months' tuition fees in lieu of notice. The school reserves the right to withdraw a place if fees are not paid on time.

Curriculum

Baleares International College offers a British style international education for boys and girls aged 3 to 18. There are two campuses on Mallorca: Sa Porrassa in Calvià and Sant Agustí on the outskirts of Palma. Lessons are delivered in English, with a team of language specialists; students learn Spanish, Catalan, German and French, with English as an Additional Language support. The school offers IGCSE and A Level qualifications. It is COBIS compliant and Mallorca's only COBIS compliant school. BIC Sant Agustí has excellent facilities including specialist language classrooms, outdoor classrooms, a large sports court and an Early Years playground. There is access to local environmental features nearby such as a forest, the beach and coast, the local sailing club and a sports centre with a heated indoor swimming pool. The classrooms are large, air‑conditioned, well‑lit and newly furnished; Chromebooks and laptops are used for Computer Science. There is a spacious dining room with sea views, and the school provides a dedicated art studio, a specialist music room, a soft play area and two language classrooms. A broad language provision accompanies the British curriculum, with Spanish, Catalan (from Year 2), French and German (from Year 3).

Sant Agustí has a large sports court. Sa Porrassa has an indoor sports centre, a brand new Astro‑Turf and running track, a swimming pool, an all‑weather basketball court, and football and volleyball courts. The Astro‑Turf pitch provides a high‑quality, all‑weather surface that can be used year‑round for PE and is open at break and lunchtime and for after‑school clubs and teams.

Fill in our online enquiry form to register your interest or book a school tour. You can select the school, request a virtual tour, and the admissions team will contact you. Step 2: Visit School. A personal tour of the school to explore classrooms and facilities and meet academic staff. Step 3: Start your Application. Apply via the Admissions Portal. Log in to view progress and submit documents; each child needs their own application. Step 4: Offer and acceptance. After review, a formal offer is sent via the portal; you sign the terms and conditions and pay the Enrolment Fee and Transcript Fee. An entry test or interview may be requested. Admissions are assessed in line with policies for Sant Agustí and Sa Porrassa.

Scholarships

BIC 2021 Scholarship Programme provides 50% of the tuition costs for the 2-year A Level programme funded by Orbital Education. Available to current Baleares International College students and new entrants starting A Level studies in September 2021. Scholarships awarded on achievement and potential.
