The NSL community is described as warm and welcoming, with day-to-day integration between departments through the curriculum and specialist lessons such as music and gym. Families receive weekly updates and a monthly newsletter.

Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The school has a Participation Council (MR) representing parents/guardians, students and teachers; it advises the senior management and meets at least six times per year. The General Participation Council (GMR) communicates with the Board and Management across the Foundation to discuss policy, budget, and school-wide issues.
