Optional and ancillary charges

- Transport (door-to-door, two-way only): GBP 3,750 per year. Transport is not available for Grades 11 & 12; one half-term's written notice required to cancel.
- Home Language classes: fees set on a bespoke basis depending on class size; precise costs confirmed at enrolment.
- Extra‑curricular activities: most school-run clubs are provided at no charge; some externally provided activities incur extra termly charges.
- Books and uniform: the tuition fee covers loan of books for the academic year and an initial sports uniform; parents are invoiced for lost/damaged books or replacement sports uniform.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- An invoice for the full academic year is issued in May and is payable in full by the first Monday in July. Fees may exceptionally be paid in instalments only with the prior agreement of the Business Office. No pupil may attend classes if fees are outstanding, but the obligation to pay remains.
- Enrolment deposit must be paid within three weeks of an offer; a place is only guaranteed on receipt of the deposit. If a family withdraws after paying the deposit and without giving the required notice, the deposit is forfeited.
- Notice of withdrawal: written notice by the last day of the Spring Term is required for students leaving at the end of the school year; for students leaving during the year a full term's written notice is required. Failure to give required notice leaves the parent/legal guardian liable for the following term's fees and the enrolment deposit may be forfeited.
Refund information
- The Enrolment Deposit is refundable to students who leave at the end of the school year provided written notice is given by the last day of the Spring Term. Students who leave during the school year and who have given a full term's written notice are also entitled to a refund of the deposit. New applicants who accept a place and then withdraw are not entitled to a refund of the deposit unless written notice is given a full term prior to the scheduled start date.
- One half-term's written notice is required to cancel optional services such as lunch and transport; timing rules for cancellations and any pro‑rata refunds follow the school's published notice periods.
Boarding
- ISL Surrey operates as a day school and has no boarding facilities; no boarding fees apply.
Fee payment options
- Application fees are accepted by credit card through the school's online admissions system (OpenApply) using a Stripe payment processor.
- Tuition and other school invoices are issued as described above and may be paid in accordance with the invoice and the Business Office terms; instalment arrangements require prior agreement with the Business Office. Parents should refer to the invoice or the school's finance contacts for the available payment mechanisms for tuition and ancillary charges.
