Billing schedule and payment terms
- An invoice for the full academic year is issued in May and is payable in full by the first Monday in July. Fees may exceptionally be paid in instalments only with the prior agreement of the Business Office. No pupil may attend classes if fees are outstanding, but the obligation to pay remains.
- Enrolment deposit must be paid within three weeks of an offer; a place is only guaranteed on receipt of the deposit. If a family withdraws after paying the deposit and without giving the required notice, the deposit is forfeited.
- Notice of withdrawal: written notice by the last day of the Spring Term is required for students leaving at the end of the school year; for students leaving during the year a full term's written notice is required. Failure to give required notice leaves the parent/legal guardian liable for the following term's fees and the enrolment deposit may be forfeited.

Refund information
- The Enrolment Deposit is refundable to students who leave at the end of the school year provided written notice is given by the last day of the Spring Term. Students who leave during the school year and who have given a full term's written notice are also entitled to a refund of the deposit. New applicants who accept a place and then withdraw are not entitled to a refund of the deposit unless written notice is given a full term prior to the scheduled start date.
- One half-term's written notice is required to cancel optional services such as lunch and transport; timing rules for cancellations and any pro‑rata refunds follow the school's published notice periods.

Language Provision

Home Language and Language & Literature options are offered in ISL Surrey, enabling students to study their native language alongside English. Admissions

Admissions

1. ISL Surrey is a day school and only admits students who live in Surrey with their parents or legal guardians. It has no boarding facilities. The school uses a 31 August cut-off for year/grade placement, with flexibility for internationally mobile students; initial placement decisions are made after a two-week assessment and a report is shared with parents. Door-to-Door Transportation is provided for children aged 4+.

2. To apply, submit a completed and signed Application Form with a passport-size photograph and the Application Fee. Provide copies of the student's school reports for the past two years and the results of any standardised testing and educational or psychological evaluations, with official translations if not in English. Include the completed Student Questionnaire (Year 5/Grade 4 and above) and the completed Teacher Reference Form, plus an Employer Certification Form if fees are paid by the employer, and copies of the passport and UK visa if applicable. The application will not be considered until all items have been received and the signature on the Application Form or electronic submission constitutes acceptance of all Terms and Conditions.

3. Applications are submitted via the ISL Surrey online admission system at islsurrey.openapply.com. The Admissions Office contacts applicants to confirm receipt and provide an update on status. The signature on the Application Form constitutes acceptance of all stated Terms and Conditions. The application is not considered complete until all required items have been received.

4. A personal interview or additional testing may be required. The school may request information from teachers, counsellors, administrators and/or other specialists. ISL Surrey aims to admit students whose needs can be met by its educational and pastoral services. If information received after acceptance would have affected the decision, the acceptance may be reassessed.

5. A final decision is communicated to families by e-mail. If offered a place, the Enrolment Deposit must be paid within three weeks of the offer. A place is guaranteed upon receipt of the deposit; the first term's tuition may be due depending on the acceptance date. If the deadline is missed, the offer may be withdrawn and the Enrolment Deposit will not be refunded if the family withdraws after accepting.

6. Notice of withdrawal must be given in writing by the last day of the Spring Term for end-of-year departures; for mid-year departures, a full term's notice is required. If proper notice is not given, the Enrolment Deposit is forfeited and the family remains liable for the following term's fees. New applicants who accepted a place and subsequently withdraw will not receive a refund of the Enrolment Deposit.

7. To comply with UK Visas and Immigration regulations, the School Admissions Officer must see every student's passport and keep photocopies of the pages concerning personal details, visa information, leave stamps and immigration status. This applies to every student regardless of nationality. It is necessary for the original passport to be presented to the Admissions Office prior to the student's first day.
