Enrolment, re‑enrolment and deposit charges

Food Options

Kindergarten: Meals are taken in the classroom at 12:05 PM (Monday to Thursday). Students may bring a lunch box or order a meal via Ben's Farmhouse (20 AED per meal). A healthy snack must be provided by parents each morning. Peanuts and nuts are prohibited due to allergies. Elementary: Parents may choose between a lunch box or ordering meals for the term via Spare (23 AED per meal). Meals are served on-site by Ben's Farmhouse. Secondary: Students may eat in the cafeteria or designated spaces; meals are served on-site, with a cafeteria card issued on entry to 6th grade and recharged via Spare (card recharge is cash-only at Secondary). Cafeteria meals cost 25 AED and kiosks vary by purchases. General rules: Food deliveries to the school are prohibited.

Governance and Ownership

The LFIGP is a non-profit Emirati association under the aegis of the Community Development Authority (CDA), a government authority established in 2008. Its main tasks are to identify specific needs through observations and discussions, develop personalized support plans, provide psychological support and tailored tools to promote independence and confidence, and raise awareness about inclusion across the school community. English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Multilingual education is central to LFIGP, with emphasis on French complemented by other languages to develop plurilingual students open to cultural diversity. Admissions

Step 1. Pre-enrollment prerequisites. The KHDA age criteria apply. For entry to Maternelle, children born in 2022 join Petite Section in 2025/2026; for entry to PS/MS/GS, an age waiver is required for those born between September 1 and December 31 of 2022, 2021, or 2020. The child must be toilet trained before starting. A placement test and/or an interview may be required, payable at 300 AED; final acceptance decisions are made by the principal and the school reserves the right to refuse an application.

Step 2. Enrollment modalities. Enrollment is online only through Eduka. The process includes creating the child's file, acknowledging receipt, and the inscriptions service issuing a decision. If accepted, an invoice for 500 AED processing fees plus 10% of the annual tuition is sent by the finance service; payment within the deadlines confirms admission by email. A form on Eduka collects information about the child's habits and the family's motivations for choosing LFIGP, and dossiers are reviewed in order of arrival against criteria such as Emirati nationality, staff children, siblings already enrolled, prior AEFE experience, or other curriculums.

Step 3. Language pathways. In Maternelle, PS join the Section Internationale Français Renforcé (SIFR) with three hours of English per week. In MS and GS, parents may choose between the Section Internationale Français Renforcé and the Section Internationale Anglais Renforcé. For the English-reinforced option, priority is given to pupils previously in LFIGP's English-reinforced MS/GS, then to AEFE international sections, then to students with strong command of French; the program uses two teachers and KHDA fees apply as indicated in the KHDA School Fact Sheet.

Step 4. Waiting list. The school opens a waiting list when applications exceed places. Being on the waiting list does not guarantee admission. Parents on the waiting list are informed as soon as a vacancy arises. The waiting list helps manage admissions and supports a smooth transition for new arrivals.

Step 5. Inclusion. The Inclusion team may be consulted to assess needed supports; admission of students with identified special educational needs may require AESH support, and families are responsible for arranging and funding this assistance. The school may conduct an interview with the family and educators to determine supports.

Step 6. Payments and documents. If a place is offered, an invoice for 500 AED processing fee and 10% of the annual tuition is issued; these fees are non-refundable.
