International Schools in Kyiv, Ukraine

International schools in Kyiv span English-medium international programmes (International Baccalaureate, British Cambridge and American-style curricula) as well as bilingual Ukrainian - English models that combine international syllabuses with national requirements. English is the most common language of instruction, while schools typically teach Ukrainian and other modern languages (French, German, Spanish) and some use CLIL bilingual approaches. Annual fees vary widely across the city: directories and school fee schedules show a broad band of charges with a median in the mid-tens of thousands of hryvnia and many schools publishing specific year-by-year tariffs and extra charges such as registration or capital-fund fees. Admissions normally follow the September academic year and involve an inquiry, paperwork, placement testing and an interview or trial day, but families should contact schools early and confirm current entry windows and any temporary arrangements because operations and fee policies have been adjusted since 2022.
