The British-Georgian Academy sits on a 15,000-square-metre campus above Tbilisi near Lake Lisi. Founded in 2006, it is a private school offering an International Program (grades 1–12) and a Georgian Program (grades 11–12). The International Program uses the Cambridge Curriculum alongside the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Instruction in the International Program is bilingual, with some subjects taught in Georgian and others in English. The Georgian Program provides national studies for the upper grades. The school follows the national framework while autonomously determining curricula and teaching methods to meet modern standards. Facilities include modern classrooms, laboratories, a library and sports spaces. With more than 12 sports facilities, it supports a wide range of PE and extracurricular activities.
