British Curriculum, Cambridge (Secondary)
AlSharqyia School is a co-educational day school in Adliya, Bahrain, serving ages 4 to 18 with a British Curriculum, Cambridge Secondary program. The school emphasizes a balanced curriculum that includes Computer, Arts, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics and Languages, with Arabic, English and French taught. It fosters Respect, Responsibility and Resourcefulness and describes its faculty as highly dedicated and globally exposed. The school aims to provide a stable, happy, stimulating and challenging environment where cultural and religious diversity permeates all aspects of school life. Since opening in 2011 with four students, it has grown to over 600 students across all levels. Facilities include a library, science laboratories, modern technology-equipped classrooms, indoor gymnasiums and covered outdoor playgrounds, a theatre, a cafeteria and a prayer hall. Athletics and other on-site sports, performing arts, drawing and painting activities, and student publications on PADLET enrich the co-curricular program. Dedicated staff support learners toward high goals.
