Westminster International School in Tashkent is an international school opened in September 2019 on a purpose-built campus that serves students aged 2 to 18. 1. Application Process: Parents submit an Application Form to the Admissions Office, in person or online via Apply Now. The Office contacts families to discuss a School Tour, Entry Assessment, or place availability. 2. Entry Assessment: All entry assessments are conducted in English for year group placement. To register, submit the child's birth certificate, passport copies, and current/last school reports. 3. Conditional Offer and Acceptance: If a place is available, a conditional offer is issued after the assessment. Acceptance must be received within five days with signed documents and the required fees paid before joining. 4. Successful Enrolment: Upon enrolment, year-group information is provided. The student may attend an Orientation Day if starting at the year's start, or an enrolment meeting if starting mid-year. 5. Overseas Applications/Enrolment: Overseas applicants follow the same steps; entry assessment can occur at the current school with consent, and orientation or enrolment meetings may occur. 6. Waiting Lists: If a year group is full after the assessment, a place on the Waiting List is offered. Priority is to Category 1 (sibling or transferring international students), Category 2 (diplomatic visa holders), then Category 3 (other applicants).

Details: A scholarship is a monetary award to a family to support entry to WIST and progression to university. Open to: Scholarships are open to new and existing students; Uzbek citizens or permanent residents may apply, with potential opportunities for native English speakers depending on circumstances. Eligibility: Candidates should be 16 by 1 September for Year 12 or 14 for Year 10, fluent in English, and able to write well. Process and documents: The scholarship process runs in May after local adverts; applicants hand-write a letter detailing background and talents, include transcripts and a recommendation from the current school principal, and submit all documents by May 31, 2025. Assessment and selection: Shortlisted candidates are interviewed by the SMT; CAT4, English written and Mathematics assessments are used. Continued excellence: In Year 12, a 30% reduction may be awarded, rising to 50% in Year 13 for sustained high performance.
