History
Saint Andrew's School opened its doors in 2013. The founder and head teacher studied at the University of St Andrews in Scotland and later lived in remote villages in the Highlands, where her own children attended small rural schools and learned in composite classes. She moved to recreate a high-quality, nurturing educational model in the north of Tenerife, selecting El Sauzal for its safe surroundings and accessible location. The school grew quickly, largely through personal recommendations, while remaining a small, family-style British school focused on individual care.
