Key Stage 4 covers two-year IGCSE courses in 6–9 subjects. History

School 7 is part of the British International School Moscow (BIS) network. BIS began with School 1 in 1994 as the first private international school in Moscow for ages 3–7 with English instruction. In 1995 BIS opened School 2 for 7–11 years and School 3 for 11 years old. In 1997 BIS opened School 5 with a Russian education programme while continuing English language instruction. In 2014 Secondary School 7 opened, allowing students to study under the A level and IGCSE programmes. The A level pre university qualification was assigned to BIS in 2014 and COBIS accreditation was awarded in 2016. By 2023 BIS operated six schools with about 1,000 students and around 2,000 parents.

Community

The BIS 7 community includes a School Association with representatives of each class, teachers and headteachers who participate in decision making and the development of initiatives. Head Boy and Head Girl elections are held annually to participate in school decisions and to represent the school at official events. BIS 7 offers BIS² clubs with more than 25 clubs across creative, intellectual and sport areas, including Pottery, Art Club, Design of clothes, Guitar, Art studio, Ukulele, Drama, Programming PYTHON / ROBLOX, Chess, Mental arithmetic and 3D modeling, plus sport and health clubs such as Eastern martial arts, Yoga for kids, Latin American Dance, Football and Ballet. Extracurricular activities include field trips, theatre tours, stage performances, visits to shelters, and environmental initiatives.
