Admissions

1. Eligibility and placement. SMS places students in the grade appropriate for their age. Age guidelines are: Early Years—Toddler up to 18 months; Preschool—up to 3; Kindergarten—4; Primary—Reception 5 to Grade 6; Secondary—Grade 7 to Grade 9. Final placement is determined by the administration and may change after observation.

2. School fees. Fees include Registration (one-time) and annual charges: School Development, Extra Activities, and Textbook/Online Resources (for Kindergarten and above). The School Fee can be paid yearly, by semester, or by term. These fees cover activities and learning resources.

3. Free trial. A one-week trial is available and must be booked at least 3 days before. It runs Monday to Friday during school hours: Toddlers 08:00–10:00; Preschool 08:00–11:30; Kindergarten 08:00–12:30; Primary/Secondary 08:00–14:45. The trial lets the child experience the program and provides parental observation.

4. Required documents. After the trial, enrollment documents must be completed and submitted to the admission team. The documents include the Application Form, Health/Immunization Record, Birth Certificate copy, Student and Parent Passport copies, and any English language test results. Indonesian applicants provide a copy of Kartu Keluarga; expatriates provide copies of KIMS/KITAS.
