Curriculum

The curriculum is multi-faceted, multi-lingual and dynamic, drawing on global best practice. The Early Learning Centre uses the Australian Early Years Learning Framework: Belonging, Being and Becoming. From Kindergarten B to Primary, the curriculum combines Kurikulum Nasional and Cambridge, with enrichment programs to support whole-child development. The school emphasizes learner-led learning, with the child as the director of their own learning and educators as facilitators, delivering play-based and project-based experiences that develop social, emotional, verbal, cognitive and physical skills. Enrichment programs integrate project-based character development and include Intrinsic Motivation, Active Global Citizens, Future Leaders of Character, Addressing and Preventing Bullying, and Fine Arts, Dance and Music.
Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school integrates social and emotional learning through enrichment programs. Intrinsic Motivation supports daily learning with a focus on personal growth rather than external rewards. Active Global Citizens encourage students to think about modern world issues and how they can contribute to their communities. Future Leaders of Character weave project-based traits such as attentiveness, compassion, respect, and responsibility into the curriculum. Addressing and Preventing Bullying is a research-based element that teaches students to identify, prevent and respond to anti-social behavior. The program also includes fine arts, dance and music to foster expression, collaboration and cultural awareness.

Mental Wellbeing

Mental wellbeing is a core element of the school's approach, with a focus on developing the whole child socially, emotionally, verbally, cognitively and physically. The principles include creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment and fostering secure attachments and warm relationships. The program strengthens resilience, critical thinking and informed risk-taking, and promotes communication and problem solving.

Safeguarding

Addressing and Preventing Bullying is a research-based element that teaches students to identify, prevent and respond to antisocial behaviour. The school aims to create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment and fosters secure attachments and warm trusting relationships. Working with families through parent meetings, conferences and communications supports safety and well-being.
Parent Experience

Community

We engage both local and international communities in developing our education and programs, and require families to be directly involved in their children's learning. A parent participation form commits families to spending a day at the school to learn about the environment and how the child is educated. Sabrina Tumewu, LLB, B.A., PGCertPT, serves as Chairman of Yayasan Stella Mundi Indonesia, the governing foundation.

Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Working in partnership with parents and families we will: acknowledge the extensive and varied growth and development that has occurred in the home; share knowledge and promote confident parenting through focus child meetings, parent-teacher conferences and seminars; seek to develop and maintain positive relationships based on trust and mutual respect, two-way communication and participation in service decision-making; respect and value the individual backgrounds and unique culture and customs of families; build genuine reciprocal relationships between students, families, staff and educators that are strengthened and sustained over time; welcome members from the community as valuable co-contributors to a rich and vibrant shared experience.
