- The parents' income used for the calculation is the documented income in the second calendar year before the school year begins (for 2025/26, the income year used is 2023). If required documentation is not provided by specified deadlines, the maximum fee may be charged.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Annual boarding payment is divided into 10 monthly instalments (August–May). Each instalment is due in advance on the 1st of the month. Moving in on or after 1 November also incurs the June instalment. A written one‑month notice (to the 1st of a month) must be given to the administration office on leaving. Internal room changes incur a fee of DKK 500.

Boarding during school holidays / short stays
- The boarding school is closed during the main school holidays (summer, autumn, Christmas, winter and Easter). If a student is approved to stay during a closed period, the charge is DKK 600 per week or DKK 150 per day. The kitchen is closed during the holidays. Overnight stays by a guest in a student's room are charged at the same daily/weekly rates. There is no refund for boarding/meal charges if a boarding student does not participate in meals.

Other fees and costs
- Administration / registration (indmeldelses) fee on confirmation: DKK 1,750 (non‑refundable).
- Internal room move fee: DKK 500.
- Holiday stay fee (when staying during closed periods): DKK 600 per week or DKK 150 per day.

Refunds and reductions
- The registration/administration fee of DKK 1,750 is non‑refundable. There is no refund of boarding/meal charges if a boarding student does not participate in meals. The boarding fee may be reduced during the school year on documented grounds (for example, a significant and lasting fall in income due to unemployment, long‑term illness, transition to pension, etc.) if an application and documentation are provided. If adequate income documentation is not received by the stated deadlines, the maximum boarding fee may be charged.

Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Struer Statsgymnasium provides a coordinated approach to student wellbeing. The student counsellors coordinate support for students with academic, social or emotional needs, working closely with the IB coordinator, teachers and parents. A team of coaches supports students facing academic, social and emotional challenges, and a reading counsellor assists with literacy and learning needs. The school has a psychologist who visits weekly (up to five consultations per school year) and Homework Cafes offer after-class help. The school's mission and leadership emphasise student wellbeing, aiming to meet students where they are and lift them academically, socially and personally.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Struer Statsgymnasium has a Special Educational Needs Policy. It identifies four broad SEN categories: communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social, mental and emotional health, and sensory and/or physical needs. Daily coordination for SEN is led by the student counsellor in collaboration with the IB coordinator and teachers, with planning before the school year and ongoing review. Support measures include student counselling, coaching, access to a school psychologist (weekly visits, up to five consultations per year), a reading counsellor, teacher/student mentors, and homework cafés. The policy also describes accommodations for IB exams (e.g., extra time, rest periods, ICT use, scribes/readers, prompters) and states the school will help arrange assessments or transfer to another institution if needed.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The language policy states that the language of instruction is English in all classes except Danish classes, and that all teachers act as language teachers. English is the unifying language, and students are encouraged to speak English in and out of class. All students learn at least one additional language, with current group 2 options including English B HL, Danish B HL, Spanish a.i. SL, and German SL. The school supports Language A Literature self-taught options and other languages studied as self-taught with supervision.

Mental Wellbeing

Social, mental and emotional health is recognised as a key area in the SEN framework. The school coordinates support through student counsellors and teachers, with a dedicated school psychologist (weekly visits, up to five consultations per school year) and a coaching team to assist students facing academic, social or emotional challenges. Reading counsellor support and Homework cafés are available to aid learning and well-being. The institution prioritises wellbeing in its strategic direction and mission, and conducts regular wellbeing efforts and targeted support to ensure students feel supported and engaged.

Safeguarding

Struer Statsgymnasium has explicit safeguarding policies to prevent abusive acts and promote a safe learning environment. The institution defines and prohibits harassment and seeks to create an environment where all pupils feel safe and respected. It maintains an anti-bullying strategy and requires regular pupil well-being surveys, with processes for raising concerns and addressing them through formal procedures. If harassment or other incidents occur, the rector investigates with support from a study-coordinator or counsellor, and parents are involved when students are under 18; serious cases may be escalated to the board, and additional steps exist for reporting and external authorities when necessary. Policies and procedures are communicated to families and staff as part of the school's ongoing safeguarding framework.
