Uruguayan American School (UAS) is a private, college-preparatory day school in Montevideo, founded in 1958 to promote intercultural understanding through a U.S.-style education in Uruguay. The curriculum blends the American Education Reaches Out (AERO) standards with the U.S. Common Core, delivered in English in Early Childhood and Elementary, while Spanish Language and Social Studies follow the Uruguayan ANEP-DGEIP framework.
