Billing schedule and payment terms

- Payment plans available: one payment (annual), three payments, or eleven payments. All payment plans normally begin in July; start dates may be modified for families who enroll after July. Accounts are managed through Blackbaud Tuition Management.

- Tuition deposits: a tuition deposit is required to secure enrollment; the deposit amount is equal to one-twelfth (1/12) of the student's tuition and is collected as part of the enrollment process. Tuition deposits are scheduled as a February payment on the school billing cycle.

- Automatic payments and invoicing: families may set up automatic deductions or receive invoices through the Blackbaud system. Invoiced families who pay by check or money order must mail payments by the invoice due date. A one-time fee for the tuition service is assessed at the start of each school year.

- Late/collection fees and delinquency: fees are charged for late payments, failed auto-debits, or NSF checks. Accounts must be satisfied in full (including care or club balances and return of school property) before final report cards are released and before official records are transferred. Families may be liable for reasonable collection costs if tuition and fees remain unpaid.

Uniform Requirement

The school has a dress code. Sneakers are required for physical education days for grades K-8. Clothing must be appropriate for school; items depicting illegal substances or inappropriate content are not allowed. Children in Early Childhood and Elementary divisions must have a labeled change of clothes kept at school for the year.

Food Options

Admissions

Step 1: Get to know us. The Director of Enrollment Management, Jill Schaller, meets with prospective families by appointment. A tour can be scheduled to visit Soundview School. This initial meeting introduces families to Soundview's programs and helps assess fit with the school's community.

Step 2: Begin your application. Create an application account or log in to Finalsite Enrollment to start the admissions process. Submit the application form and the $60 application fee (or request a fee waiver). If applying for financial aid, create a Clarity account and begin the Clarity application.

Step 3: Complete the application checklist. After submission, a checklist appears with items to complete: Parent/Guardian Statement; Teacher evaluations; School Administrator Form; Transcripts/Report cards (Grades 1–8); Student visit; Parent/guardian interview.

Step 4: Acceptance and enrollment. Admission offers are issued on March 20, 2026. Families must secure space by March 27, 2026 by completing the Enrollment Agreement and paying the nonrefundable enrollment deposit (1/12 of tuition).

Step 5: Get connected. Once enrolled, new families are invited to spring and summer events to build connections and prepare for the upcoming school year.

Financial aid application deadlines are December 15, 2025 for returning families and February 13, 2026 for prospective families.
