*Per‑term guidance*
- The school publishes the annual tuition amounts above. If you need per‑term figures and the billing follows equal academic terms, divide the annual tuition by the number of billed terms to compute a per‑term amount (the school's published payment plans use annual, two‑payment and multi‑month installment options rather than fixed per‑term listings).
*Enrollment deposits, contract timing, and billing schedule*
- At enrollment (or reenrollment), families pay an enrollment deposit equal to 10% of net tuition. Families selecting the school's one‑pay option pay tuition in full to the school by July 1.
- Available payment plans managed through FACTS:
- One‑payment plan: 100% due in July.
- Two‑payment plan: 60% due in July and 40% due in November.
- Ten‑payment plan: equal installments April through January.
- For installment plans, payments are automatically withdrawn from a designated checking or savings account, or charged to a credit card. Automatic withdrawals/charges occur on the 1st or the 15th of the month. Visa, American Express, Discover, and MasterCard are accepted; credit card payments incur a 2.85% service fee.
- If an enrollment contract is accepted after July 1, 60% of tuition is due at the time of acceptance.
*Program‑specific deposits and required prepayments*
- Infant & Toddler program: when returning a contract, a nonrefundable deposit of USD 3,768 is required and is applied toward tuition.
- Preschool program: when returning a contract, a nonrefundable deposit of USD 2,500 is required and is applied toward tuition.
- For Pre‑K through Grade 12 enrollments, the standard enrollment deposit is 10% of net tuition (see Enrollment deposits above).
*Boarding fees (applicability)
- The St. Paul's Schools do not operate a boarding program for current students; historical records show the boarding program was suspended decades ago and current tuition schedules do not include boarding charges. No boarding fees are published for 2026–2027.
*Other costs and typical additional charges*
- Aftercare: there is an additional aftercare fee for families using the aftercare program; the amount is charged separately from tuition.
- Transportation: bus service is available (published routes for Howard County, Baltimore City, Harford County/North Baltimore). Bus route details and registration are managed separately; fees or route‑availability inquiries are handled by the transportation contact.
- Uniforms, spirit wear, and school supplies: the school store sells uniforms and branded apparel; individual item prices vary (examples on the school store include items priced at approximately USD 21.95, USD 31.95, USD 36.95 for select apparel). Uniform and apparel purchases are billed through the school store and are separate from tuition.
- Extracurricular, curriculum, or activity charges: camps, special trips, program‑specific fees, elective lessons, and similar incidental costs may be billed in addition to tuition when applicable. These charges are assessed as incurred and are not included in the headline tuition figures.
*Refunds and tuition protection*
- Families are financially responsible for the full year's net tuition (net tuition equals tuition after any financial aid received). To limit financial exposure if a student leaves during the year, a Tuition Refund Plan (underwritten through A.W.G. Dewar, Inc.) is available to families. Specific terms and coverage details are contained in the Tuition Refund Plan brochure.
*Accepted fee payment methods and third‑party payment options*
- Payment methods accepted for tuition and payments processed through FACTS include ACH (checking/savings) withdrawals and credit card charges (Visa, AmEx, Discover, MasterCard). Credit card payments carry a 2.85% service fee when used. FACTS administers installment plans; the school also references alternative low‑rate monthly tuition plans available through third‑party providers.
*Notes for budgeting and billing timing*
- Annual tuition figures above are the published contract amounts for the 2026–2027 academic year; expected billing follows the deposit + chosen payment plan schedule (one‑pay, two‑pay, or ten‑pay). If a contract is returned after July 1, expect the larger up‑front payment (60%) at acceptance as noted above.
