Application fees
- There is no application fee to apply for enrollment. Families register interest using the school's Family Interest Form; admissions are managed on a first-come, first-served basis with sibling and staff-child preference.
Tuition fees (by school year / per term / per year group)
- Global Village Academy – Aurora is a tuition-free K–8 public charter school. Tuition for all grade levels (Kindergarten through Grade 8) is USD 0 per year and USD 0 per term. Full-day kindergarten is included with no tuition charge.
Optional / fee-based programs and their fees
- Before & After Care (Innovation Learning):
- Registration fees: USD 59 per child or USD 99 per family.
- Monthly rates (Before School): 1 day/week USD 52; 2 days USD 94; 3 days USD 136; 4 days USD 168; 5 days USD 178.
- Monthly rates (After School): 1 day/week USD 100; 2 days USD 158; 3 days USD 227; 4 days USD 274; 5 days USD 295.
- Additional fees: Drop-in USD 17 (AM) / USD 26 (PM); Same‑day drop‑ins add USD 5 to the daily rate; Early dismissal days USD 50; Vacation day rate USD 66. CCAP is accepted.
- ENCORE after-school enrichment (fee-based classes):
- ENCORE is offered in two semesters (Fall and Winter/Spring). Each semester is paid in a set of monthly installments (Fall semester: 5 monthly payments; Winter/Spring semester: 5 monthly payments). Registration is confirmed upon receipt of the first payment. Nonpayment prevents student participation. Class tuition varies by class and is billed monthly; discounted tuition (30% off) is available for students who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch.
- School Materials & Technology fees:
- A materials fee is charged for K–8 students to cover classroom resources such as headphones, math and target-language workbooks, and related materials; this materials fee is paid via the school's online payment portal. (Amount is collected through the school payment portal.)
- Technology fee: USD 50 per family, annually (covers digital learning tools, classroom devices, and essential accessories).
- Meals and lunch program:
- All enrolled students receive free breakfast and lunch. Families may add funds to student accounts for à la carte items or extra food through the school's lunch payment system.
- Uniforms and spirit wear:
- Uniform items are available through the school‑authorized vendors. Returned or exchanged uniform merchandise is accepted within 30 days; exchanged items must be unworn and in new condition. Shipping for customer-error returns is the customer's responsibility; vendor returns procedures apply.
Billing schedule and payment terms (school and program-specific)
- General school payments: the school uses an online payment portal for collecting optional fees and program payments. Online payment links are provided for specific programs and fees.
- Innovation Learning (Before & After Care) billing and payment terms:
- Families must maintain a valid payment method (credit/debit card) on file; AutoPay is used for regular billing. Weekly AutoPay withdrawals are used for week-ahead billing; when monthly billing is offered, families are billed on the first day of the month. A convenience/service fee may be applied to payments. Registration fees are nonrefundable; refunds (when allowed) are subject to a processing/administration fee. A one‑time late fee and other payment‑delinquency terms apply as described in the provider's registration agreement.
- ENCORE billing and payment terms:
- Semesters are divided into monthly payments (Fall and Winter/Spring). Payments must be made online; students are not registered or permitted to attend until payment in full (or the first installment as required) is received. Specific class tuition amounts and payment links are provided at registration.
Refund information
- Uniforms: returned merchandise is accepted within 30 days; exchanged items must be unworn and in new condition. Return shipping costs depend on whether the return is due to a vendor error or customer error.
- Innovation Learning (Before & After Care): registration fees are nonrefundable; refunds that are issued are subject to a processing/administration fee (the provider applies a processing fee on refunds and a service/convenience fee on payments). Late fees and cancellation notice requirements apply.
- ENCORE: if a registered class is dropped, the ENCORE manager will contact families to process a refund or offer an alternate class; class-specific refund rules apply at the time of registration.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not offered. The school operates as a day K–8 public charter with elementary and middle campuses; there are no boarding fees.
Accepted payment methods and payment options
- Online payment portals are used for program and optional fee collection (school payment portal and program-specific portals). Families are required to keep a valid payment method on file for fee-based programs.
- Innovation Learning requires a valid credit or debit card on file and uses AutoPay; monthly program billing is possible. Service/convenience fees may be applied to electronic payments.
- Lunch account top-ups and à la carte purchases are managed through the district's lunch payment system (PayschoolsCentral).
- ENCORE and other program registrations and payments are completed through the school's online payment store. Specific vendors and program pages show the registration/payment links.
