Billing schedule and payment terms
- Regular tuition is not invoiced because compulsory basic education at this school is provided without tuition charge; there is therefore no termly or annual tuition billing schedule for school fees.
- Charges that are invoiced (for example municipal after‑school care / fritids places or optional, voluntary activities) are billed and administered according to the municipality's invoicing rules. Staffanstorp municipality applies the national maxtaxa model for fritids and publishes the applicable monthly parental‑fee levels. Examples of the municipal maxtaxa for 2026 (for fritidshem) are:
- Maxtaxa fritidshem (until 30 June 2026): Child 1 = SEK 1,231 per month; Child 2 = SEK 616 per month; Child 3 = SEK 616 per month; Child 4 = SEK 0.
- Maxtaxa fritidshem (from 1 July 2026): Child 1 = SEK 1,031 per month; Child 2 = SEK 516 per month; Child 3 = SEK 516 per month; Child 4 = SEK 0.
- Registration and parental information for municipal childcare and invoicing are handled via the local e‑service (SchoolSoft / municipal e‑service) and BankID as indicated by the school and municipality. Parents may request billing arrangements (for example shared invoice) via the municipal e‑service.
Boarding fees
- Internationella Engelska Skolan Staffanstorp is a local F–9 day school and does not operate a boarding facility; no boarding fees apply.
Other costs or fees (uniforms, meals, trips, materials, extracurriculars)
- School meals (lunch) for compulsory‑school pupils are provided without charge under Swedish school rules; families do not pay a lunch fee as part of standard compulsory schooling.
- After‑school care (fritids) and any municipal childcare beyond the free allmän förskola hours are charged according to the municipality's maxtaxa and invoiced by the municipality.
- Optional, voluntary activities (for example non‑mandatory school trips, certain clubs or third‑party extracurricular offerings) may carry separate, activity‑specific charges; such charges are invoiced separately and must be limited to the cost of the activity. Payment, cancellation and refund conditions for optional activities are set per activity and communicated with the invoice or activity notice.
- Ordinary personal items (school clothing, footwear, stationery, sports kit) are the family's responsibility; any purchase requirements for specific activities are billed or asked for on an activity‑by‑activity basis.
Refund information
- There is no tuition or application fee to refund for standard compulsory schooling because no such fees are charged.
- Refunds or adjustments for paid optional items, excursions or municipal childcare overpayments are handled according to the invoicing body's rules: municipal fee adjustments and refunds are processed under municipal customer‑service procedures; refunds for school‑levied optional activities follow the activity's stated terms.
Fee payment options
- Municipal invoices (for example fritids) are issued through the municipality's billing systems and commonly support standard Swedish payment channels (e‑invoice / e‑faktura, autogiro/direct debit, bank transfer/bankgiro and similar invoice payment methods); specific payment instructions appear on each invoice.
- For school‑issued invoices for optional activities, typical payment methods are bank transfer or the payment channels specified on the activity invoice; some schools/parent groups also accept Swish for small voluntary payments. Parents should follow the payment instructions on the invoice they receive.
If you require these fee items presented in a different currency or formatted for an external database, present them exactly as required using the SEK amounts above.
