Billing schedule and payment terms
- There is no recurring tuition billing for any year of study; no termly or annual tuition invoices are issued for regular studies.
- When the school or municipality charges for specific optional items (for example voluntary study trips, replacement of lost hire equipment, certain course materials, or externally administered exam fees), those charges are invoiced separately as one-off items tied to the activity or service. Payment on municipal invoices is handled under standard municipal invoicing rules; Södertälje applies 30 days as the ordinary payment term for invoices unless a different agreement exists.
Boarding fees (if applicable)
- Täljegymnasiet is a day upper‑secondary school and does not operate boarding/elevhem facilities; there is no routine boarding fee charged by the school.
Other costs or fees
- Voluntary school trips and extracurricular travel: Costs for optional study trips, exchanges or certain excursions may be charged and are billed per trip or activity.
- Course-specific materials and equipment: Students in courses requiring specialist materials or protective equipment may be asked to cover reasonable costs for consumables or personal equipment; any such charges are billed separately.
- External exam or certification fees: For programmes that include externally administered examinations (for example International Baccalaureate exam fees where applicable), an examination or registration charge may be levied in specific cases and billed separately.
- Uniforms: There is no routine school-wide uniform requirement that generates a mandatory uniform fee for Täljegymnasiet; any course-specific protective clothing or safety gear would be handled as a course expense if required.
Refund information
- For optional, paid activities or services that are cancelled or not delivered, refunds (or partial refunds) are managed according to municipal invoicing and refund rules and the specific terms for that activity; municipal procedures govern repayment of amounts where an overpayment or incorrect billing has occurred. Standard municipal invoice and refund administration applies.
Fee payment options
- Payment methods for any invoiced items follow municipal billing practice: invoices are issued and paid by standard bank transfer/payment against invoice; the municipality does not add separate invoicing fees. Specific payment channels (invoice, bank transfer, Swish or card) for individual activities may be offered depending on how a particular trip or service is organised and billed.
