School services, ancillary and optional charges
- Catering / Meals:
- School catering service: EUR 101 × 11 instalments.
- Creche full day (morning reinforcement, lunch, afternoon snack): EUR 119 × 11.
- Pre‑School and C2 Creche (full day): EUR 156 × 11.
- 1.º–12.º Year full day meals: EUR 203 × 11.
- Pay‑as‑you‑go prices (examples): snack EUR 3; lunch EUR 11.50; daily catering EUR 14.
- Transport: a broad range of route‑specific annual charges billed as 10 instalments (examples): Torres Vedras EUR 104 × 10; Caldas da Rainha EUR 204 × 10; Ericeira EUR 209 × 10. Full route list and per‑route amounts are billed in 10 instalments.
- Discovery Clubs and extracurricular activities: annual charges typically billed in 10 instalments; examples — Dance EUR 47 × 10 (1 hour/week), Theatre EUR 76 × 10 (2 hours/week); some clubs are free (e.g., English Explorers). Music academy individual instrument lessons from EUR 76 × 10 (30 minutes/week).
- Small administrative/unit costs: 2nd locker key EUR 2.30; new locker lock EUR 15; 2nd student card EUR 12.50; password reissue EUR 6.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Standard tuition billing: the school's standard model is annual tuition divided into 11 equal instalments. The first instalment is payable in July; the remaining instalments are payable from September through June. Alternative plans (e.g., 12 instalments where offered) are shown alongside instalment amounts. Transport and many optional activities are normally billed in 10 instalments; some services (e.g., catering) are split into 11 instalments.
- Payment deadlines and penalties: each instalment is due within 10 calendar days of the invoice date. Late payment is subject to a monthly surcharge of 10%. Non‑payment of three instalments may result in suspension of the student's registration and associated services (meals, transport, activities, stationery, uniform). Early payment discounts are available: quarterly payment 1% discount; annual payment 3% discount if paid by the stated deadline.
Refunds and cancellations
- Withdrawal policy and refunds: in case of withdrawal, parents/guardians must notify the school in writing by the 15th of the month prior to the intended cessation. No refunds are due for tuition instalments, registration fees, or other charges on withdrawal; similarly, non‑use of services such as transport or catering does not entitle to reimbursement. Specific items like visits, extracurricular activities or late‑notice cancellations also do not qualify for refunds.
Boarding / accommodation
- Boarding is not applicable: there are no boarding or residential options listed among the school's fees; pupil provision focuses on day services (school day hours, transport, catering and after‑school clubs). Transport and extension‑of‑day services are available instead.
Fee payment methods and billing details
- Accepted payment methods: cheque (payable to Escola Internacional de Torres Vedras or EITV), bank transfer, compatible meal/benefit cards (Ticket Restaurante / Edenred) and Multibanco payments; cash payments are accepted only at the school treasury. The school provides the bank account details for transfers (Caixa Geral de Depósitos IBAN: PT50 0035 0403 0000 5033 5307 7). Instructions require identification of the pupil (registration number and year) on transfer receipts.
Other operational notes on billing
- Material and collective equipment charges are collected in three instalments (September, January, April). Some optional activities are charged per term or by trimester and are non‑refundable if the family withdraws after the start of that period. The school may amend price tables during the year if costs change, with prior communication to families. Failure to comply with payment deadlines may block access to services until accounts are regularised.
