Modern International School Oman is a privately owned international school licensed by the Ministry of Education of Oman, in Al-Athaiba, Muscat. The campus occupies 13,000 square meters and operates facilities. The school offers Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary and Cambridge IGCSE programs, alongside the Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, Social Studies, Arabic Second Language and French curriculums, with Lower Secondary in transition toward a British framework. The institution began in April 2013 under CBSE-I, then adopted an American curriculum in 2017 after CBSE-I was withdrawn by the MOE; the campus opened on 3 September 2017. The library stocks books in English, Arabic and French to support reading. After-school activities are offered yearly, with participation encouraged and waiting lists possible. Core values expressed through CARES—Citizenship, Acceptance, Respect, Exploration and Service—underline the school's ethos, including a focus on service in its Community and Service clubs and an arts program through concerts and productions.
