Deutsche Schule Vilnius is an Auslandsschule der Bundeswehr located on the campus of the Lithuanian Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Vilnius. The school teaches in German and follows North Rhine-Westphalia standards, offering primary education (grades 1–4) and secondary levels (grades 5–10) with Hauptschule, Realschule and Gymnasium tracks, plus grade 11. The Gymnasium upper level is to be developed by 2028/29, with Abitur examinations planned for 2028/29. Textbooks are provided by the school, and certificates earned at Auslandsschulen der Bundeswehr are nationally recognized. The primary school began operating on an interim site in September 2025, with grades 5–11 to be added in 2026/27 and relocation to target infrastructure within five to seven years. English is taught from grade 3, French from grade 7 (gymnasial track), and Spanish may be chosen from grade 11 under certain conditions. German instruction supports younger students' language development and a German kindergarten sits nearby.
