- Interruption or withdrawal during a term: tuition fees for that term are not refunded.
Other compulsory charges and optional additional fees
- School insurance: EUR 42 per year (included in the payment schedule).
- Additional annual charges: EUR 1,185 for certain secondary students (Middle school students and senior school students in the British International Section in Seconde and students in Première and Terminale enrolled in the International French Baccalaureate).
- CNED fees: where a student follows CNED for a language option, CNED tuition fees are paid by the school; if a student chooses additional non‑compulsory CNED language options these CNED fees are payable by the family.
Discounts and scholarships
- Large‑family discounts: 25% reduction for the 4th child and 50% reduction for the 5th and subsequent children, provided all children are enrolled at the school.
- French government scholarships: students of French nationality may be eligible for scholarships; information is handled by the consular section of the French Embassy.
Refunds and withdrawal policy
- Registration fees are non‑refundable under any circumstances. The refundable deposit (EUR 500) is returned within three months after departure, subject to deductions for outstanding sums or unreturned materials. Tuition fees for a term already begun are not refunded if schooling is interrupted during that term.
Payment methods, currency and penalties
- Accepted currencies and conditions: payments may be made in EUR or INR to the school's respective bank accounts. Payments in USD are accepted with a fixed commission of 7% to cover foreign exchange risk; for INR payments the chancery exchange rate on the invoice date is applied. Cash payments are not accepted.
- Permitted payment instruments: French cheques or bank transfer in EUR in favour of “Ecole française de Delhi” (bank charges are payable by the sender); cheques in INR in favour of “LYCEE FRANCAIS INTERNATIONAL DE DELHI”. All bank fees charged by the payer's bank must be borne by the payer and the transfer must include the pupil's surname and “Tuition Fees” in the payment reference.
- Late payment penalty: any delay exceeding 30 days incurs a penalty of 2% per month on the overdue amount. A formal Late Payment Plan (LPP) must be requested at least 24 hours before the published deadline if a family anticipates difficulty; without an approved plan the child may be suspended following missed deadlines and outstanding dues must be cleared before a leaving certificate is issued.
Boarding fees
- Boarding: no boarding fees are listed; the school does not publish a boarding programme or boarding charges. (Day‑school arrangements apply.)
Other costs commonly charged by schools (uniforms, books, canteen, extracurriculars)
- The school's financial regulations explicitly list insurance, CNED and specific additional charges for certain international section/IB students. Specific separate amounts for uniforms, standard textbook packs, canteen or regular extracurricular activity fees are not detailed in the published financial regulations. Where individual items (trips, Cambridge exam fees, damage to school property, etc.) are charged they may appear on individual bills and can be deducted from the refundable deposit if unpaid.
