Arts & Creative

Music and visual arts are supported on campus with a Music Room and an Art Room. Students engage in Punjabi cultural performance, with Bhangra representing local artistic expression. Kirtan and devotional music are integrated into spiritual education, enriching creative experiences. The program includes cultural arts activities aligned with campus life.

Cultural & Language

Students are immersed in Indian culture, including festivals and foods, as part of daily life at MPA. They experience the Chardi Kala spirit through residential and community activities. An India & Punjab Studies program honors local culture. Visits to Sikh Gurdwaras and Gurbani study are integrated into the spiritual program.

Social & Hobbies

Residential Education includes intramural group activities, competitions, outings, and field trips in and around the Punjab. The squad initiative provides daily meetings for connection and growth. Group activities span sports, trivia, cooking, and other collaborative events. These experiences foster teamwork and social engagement.

Community & Service

Seva is a part of the spiritual education program, including the Golden Temple Parkarma Seva. The residential program emphasizes community service through shared responsibilities and volunteering. Regular community-oriented experiences and service opportunities are integrated into life at MPA.

Leadership & Professional

An Elective program offers personalized learning opportunities. Career and Life Skills courses prepare students for life beyond school. A Capstone Project provides a culminating demonstration of learning. The Squad system in residential life supports leadership development and peer mentoring.

Lifestyle & Wellbeing

Daily meditation and yoga are central to the school routine, with a deep connection between spiritual education and well-being. Every day begins with yoga or physical training, and students engage in sports and martial arts in the afternoon. The program emphasizes mind–body wellness and offers mental wellbeing support, including an onsite counsellor and squad-based care.

Language Provision

Cambridge CAIE is the curriculum for Grades 5–12. English language immersion is provided for those new to English up to Grade 8, with ESL support in Grades 8–10. Punjabi language studies are integrated into language learning, with a Punjabi curriculum that covers reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar and culture, and Sikh history and philosophy. Gurmukhi is offered as a Punjabi language subject (Gurmukhi) for Grades 5–7.

Bilingual Teaching

Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), UK curriculum is used for Grades 5–12. English language immersion classes are provided for those new to English, up to Grade 8. Punjabi language studies are integrated into language learning to connect students with culture and tradition, with the Punjabi curriculum covering reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar and culture, and Sikh history and philosophy. Gurmukhi is offered as a Punjabi language subject (Gurmukhi) for Grades 5–7.

Immersion Programs

English language immersion classes are provided for those new to English up to Grade 8. English as a Second Language (ESL) support builds English proficiency in Grades 8–10.

Admissions

1. Pay initial deposit; sign Tuition Contract; sign Liability Release Agreement; fill Medical Information Form. This completes the required enrollment forms before arrival. 2. All foreigners must obtain a visa to enter India; students should apply for a Student Visa (S-2). Visa processing times vary and may take five months or longer in some countries, so application should be submitted as soon as acceptance is confirmed. 3. Schedule an Intake Interview with the School Counsellor using the provided calendar link to discuss placement and needs. 4. Add the MPA School Calendar to Google Calendar to stay updated on school activities and important dates. 5. Purchase and pack everything listed on the Packing List to be prepared for life on campus. 6. Book the flight to India in a timely manner to align with arrival dates. 7. Connect with Miri Piri Academy through social channels and sign up for the Newsletter and Blog to stay informed. 8. On arrival, student drop-off occurs on the designated date, with an Opening Lunch/Parent Reception planned for that day. 9. Review Important Dates for 2026-2027, including arrival for Grade 11-12 on August 22, 2026; arrival for Grade 7-10 on August 29, 2026; Induction Camp August 31–September 5, 2026; Winter Break from December 19, 2026 to January 11, 2027; Spring Term from March 13 to May 19, 2027. 10.
