School fees stated below apply to the 2026/2027 academic year.
Tuition fees (by year group)
- Early Primary 1: EUR 446 per month — EUR 5,352 per year — EUR 1,784 per academic term (annual fee ÷ 3).
- Early Primary 2: EUR 446 per month — EUR 5,352 per year — EUR 1,784 per academic term (annual fee ÷ 3).
- Grade 1 to 5: EUR 823 per month — EUR 9,876 per year — EUR 3,292 per academic term (annual fee ÷ 3).
- Grade 6 to 8: EUR 880 per month — EUR 10,560 per year — EUR 3,520 per academic term (annual fee ÷ 3).
- Grade 9 to 10: EUR 941 per month — EUR 11,292 per year — EUR 3,764 per academic term (annual fee ÷ 3).
- Grade 11 to 12: EUR 962 per month — EUR 11,544 per year — EUR 3,848 per academic term (annual fee ÷ 3).
Application / Registration and Campus Development fees
- Registration Fee (one-time): EUR 732. A 10% discount on the Registration Fee is applied for applications submitted at least three months before the contract start date.
- Campus Development Fee: EUR 732 due in the second contract year and EUR 732 due in the third contract year (each invoiced the month before the respective school year starts).
Sibling discounts
- For Grades 1–12: the oldest child pays the full monthly amount; the second oldest child receives a 30% reduction; the third and subsequent children receive a 50% reduction. This sibling reduction does not apply when tuition is paid (subsidised) by an employer.
Invoicing and billing schedule / payment terms
- The tuition fee overview functions as the school fee invoice; separate school-fee invoices are not issued. Invoices are issued for the Registration Fee and the Campus Development Fee. Payment statements for tax purposes are available on request.
- Registration and Campus Development fees are due immediately on invoicing.
- Payment options for tuition fees:
- One-time annual payment (monthly fee × 12) with a 2% discount — due by 31 July 2026 for the 2026/2027 year.
- 12 monthly instalments (no discount) — due on the 1st of each month, beginning 1 August 2026 for the 2026/2027 year.
- Payment by direct debit transfer is possible; an existing direct-debit authorisation remains valid until revoked. For payments from foreign bank accounts, parents must include sufficient funds to cover any transfer fees charged by their bank. If payments are late without school permission, the school may require payment in advance for six months.

Boarding fees
- Thuringia International School is not a boarding school; boarding fees are not applicable.
Other costs and fees (additional to tuition)
- Additional costs may apply depending on participation and programmes, examples include overnight field trips, Upper School "Classroom Without Walls" field trips, classroom materials, MYP/IB examination registration fees, holiday day care, shuttle service and catering (lunch). These items are not included in the tuition fees and are billed separately when applicable.
Uniforms and sundry compulsory charges
- No separate uniform fee is specified in the school's 2026/2027 fee schedule. Transport (shuttle) and catering (lunch) are explicitly not included in the school fees and are charged separately where used.
Refund information
- The 2026/2027 fee schedule does not include a specific refund provision for tuition or one-off charges.
Accepted payment methods
- Bank transfer (IBAN/SWIFT) and direct debit are provided as payment methods; the fee schedule does not list credit-card payment as a payment method. Parents making international payments should ensure transfer fees are covered.
