Application / Registration fees
- One-off registration fee: GBP 400 for students with at least one Turkish Cypriot (TRNC) parent; GBP 900 for students of all other nationalities. This registration fee is not refundable if the student does not join.
Tuition fees by year group (2026–2027) — annual, per-term (annual ÷ 3) and 12‑instalment options
- Pre‑Nursery, Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
- Annual (pay in advance): GBP 8,100 — Per term (annual ÷ 3): GBP 2,700.
- 12 instalments: GBP 745 per month (12 payments) — 12‑instalment total: GBP 8,940.
- Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6
- Annual (pay in advance): GBP 8,550 — Per term: GBP 2,850.
- 12 instalments: GBP 785 per month — 12‑instalment total: GBP 9,420.
- Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9
- Annual (pay in advance): GBP 9,250 — Per term: GBP 3,083.33.
- 12 instalments: GBP 850 per month — 12‑instalment total: GBP 10,200.
- Year 10 and Year 11
- Annual (pay in advance): GBP 9,950 — Per term: GBP 3,316.67.
- 12 instalments: GBP 915 per month — 12‑instalment total: GBP 10,980.
- Note: Year 10 and Year 11 fees include tuition and lunch but exclude textbooks and (I)GCSE exam fees.

- Annual (pay in advance): GBP 10,950 — Per term: GBP 3,650.
- 12 instalments: GBP 995 per month — 12‑instalment total: GBP 11,940.
- Note: Year 12 and Year 13 fees include tuition and lunch but exclude textbooks and IB/A‑Level exam fees.
What is included / exclusions
- Pre‑Nursery, Nursery and Reception fees include tuition, lunch, textbooks and milk break.
- Year 1 to Year 9 fees include tuition, lunch and textbooks.
- Year 10–11 and Year 12–13 fees include tuition and lunch but exclude relevant exam fees and (for older years) textbooks as noted above.
Discounts and mandatory notice
- Sibling discount: 10% discount applies to the second and all subsequent children.
- Withdrawal notice: Four months' prior written notice is required before removing a child. Failure to give four months' written notice will result in four months' tuition fees being payable in lieu of notice.
Late payment and penalties
- Where fees are not received within 14 days of the due date, a 3% monthly charge on the due amount will be automatically applied and payable. The school reserves the right to exclude students whose fees remain unpaid.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Payment options for tuition: pay the annual fee in advance or choose 12 instalments. 12 monthly instalments are scheduled as monthly payments (the instalment plan shows payments on the 1st of each month across a 12‑month cycle). All payments are expected to be received by the first day of each payment period.
Fee payment methods and instructions
- Bank transfer / cash bank deposits / standing order: payments can be made to the school's GBP bank accounts. Payment reference must state the child's surname, first name and class; email the bank receipt to accounts@englishschoolkyrenia.org as proof of payment.
- Debit/credit card: card payments can be made at the school office in either GBP or Turkish Lira at the school's daily exchange rate.
- Cash and cheques are no longer accepted in the accounts office for school fees or bus fees (card and bank transfer are the standard methods for tuition and bus fees). (Uniform shop accepts TL, cash, card and cheques — see Uniform section.)
Boarding fees (where applicable)
- Boarding provision is listed as available by official school registries. A published boarding fee schedule is not included in the school's 2026–2027 tuition fee document; boarding rates are therefore not provided in the 2026–2027 tuition schedule. Contact the accounts/admissions office for detailed boarding rates and payment terms if boarding is required.
Transport (school bus) fees and terms
- Bus service — example in‑advance and 12‑instalment rates by route (2026–27):
- Girne Ozanköy / Çatalköy / Doğanköy / Zeytinlik: In advance GBP 1,520 — 12 instalments GBP 140 per month.
- Girne Esentepe: In advance GBP 1,690 — 12 instalments GBP 155 per month.
- Girne Lapta / Alsancak / Karaoğlanoğlu: In advance GBP 1,690 — 12 instalments GBP 155 per month.
- Lefkoşa routes (multiple areas listed): In advance GBP 1,690 — 12 instalments GBP 155 per month.
- Güzelyurt ODTÜ: In advance GBP 1,890 — 12 instalments GBP 175 per month.
- A 30% surcharge applies if an additional pick‑up/drop‑off address is required that is on a different route. Four months' written notice is required to remove a child from the bus service; failure to give notice will result in charges for that period.
Uniform and other compulsory school items
- The school publishes an itemised uniform order form with prices in Turkish Lira (TL) for individual uniform items, PE kit, bags and stationery. Example prices (TL): Little Learners T‑shirt short TL 700; navy polo TL 850; school blazer TL 3,500; tracksuit items vary between TL 600–2,750 depending on item; stationery and small items listed individually. Payments for uniform purchases are required in TL; uniform payments may be made by cash, credit card or cheque at the uniform point of sale. Unsuitable items may be exchanged; refunds for uniform purchases are not available.
Other costs
- Exam fees, where applicable, are charged separately for older year groups: (I)GCSE exam fees for Year 10–11 and IB/A‑Level exam fees for Year 12–13 are excluded from the published tuition and billed separately.
- Textbook inclusion varies by year group as noted above; additional subject resources, trips, extracurricular activities and optional services may incur separate charges.
- The school applies a 10% sibling discount on tuition for the second and subsequent children.
Refunds and returns
- Registration fee: non‑refundable if the student does not join.
- Withdrawal: failure to provide four months' written notice before a child leaves results in four months' tuition being charged in lieu of notice.
- Uniform purchases: unsuitable items may be exchanged but refunds are not available for uniform purchases.
