Admissions
|
Admissions 1. Initial Application: To begin the process, parents must complete a pre-registration form online through the school's Eduka platform. This step creates a family account where you can track the status of your application. Applications are reviewed in the order they are submitted. 2. Document Submission and Application Fee: Once the Eduka account is active, parents must upload all necessary supporting documents, which centrally include the student's previous academic reports. A non-refundable application fee of €300 is required at this stage to process the file. If any documentation is missing, the admissions team will request it before moving forward. 3. Academic Review and Assessment: The school evaluates the student's academic history to ensure they can access the curriculum. Depending on the student's profile and whether they are applying for the French or International Baccalaureate track, the school may request additional testing or language assessments. This ensures the student's level aligns with the school's standard requirements. 4. Family Interview: If the application is strong and there are potential vacancies, the school will invite the family for a meeting. This allows the school to assess the student's maturity, conduct, and suitability for the program. It also provides an opportunity for parents to ask questions and familiarize themselves with the campus. 5. Offer and Registration: When a place is offered, parents must formally accept it by returning the required enrolment forms. To secure the spot, families must pay a registration fee of between €900 and €1,000, along with an advance deposit toward the first term's tuition. Once these payments are received, the student is officially placed on the class roster. | Admissions 1. Inquire. Ermitage offers a diverse range of programs from pre-K to secondary school, which vary in language of instruction, pedagogy and tuition. Inquire to receive general information about the programs you would like to learn more about and to receive guidance in choosing the right path for your child. 2. Apply. When you submit an application for your child, you will be guided through the admissions process, step by step. There are two distinct diploma paths, each with their own application process, so choose the appropriate form. If you begin an application and later choose to consider a different program, this can be coordinated by the team. 3. Admissions procedure. Ermitage is selective and ensures it is right for each child. Admissions and Academic staff review each application before moving it forward. Following an initial review, the child may be invited to attend an interview, in person or online for convenience. Depending on the section, the child may be asked to sit level papers in certain subjects to determine the appropriate level and to verify that admissions criteria are met. 4. Responses. The International Primary Programme and the International Baccalaureate have rolling admissions and mid-year entries are possible. Offers are made throughout the year. For Primary, Middle School, and the Lycée, offers for PS and 6e are issued from October, with other grade offers issued after re-enrolment in January/February. After receiving a school place offer, there is a 7-day window to complete the contract and pay the tuition deposit and enrolment fee. |
