Per‑term detail / billing frequency
- The school publishes tuition as an Annual Fee for each year group; the published amounts above are the annual tuition figures. The school's published material does not provide a term‑by‑term tariff table or a published per‑term split for those annual fees (see Billing Schedule and Payment Terms below for payment timing).
Billing schedule and payment terms
- The Admission Fee, Security Deposit and Annual Fee are payable in Indian Rupees or Euros, as applicable, within 7 days of notification of admission. - Fees already paid (other than the Security Deposit where applicable) are stated as non‑refundable. The Security Deposit is refundable without interest after adjustment of any dues when the student leaves. - The school reserves the right to revise the fee structure.
Boarding / residential fees
- The school operates as a day school and does not publish boarding or residential fees; no boarding facilities are listed.
Optional and other charges
- School bus (air‑conditioned) — optional: INR 2,25,000 per annum (standard route) / Euros 4,500 per annum. There is a lower option for the Andheri to Bandra route at INR 1,75,000 per annum / Euros 3,500 per annum. - Meals in the school dining hall: offered as an optional paid service (cashless cafeteria system is used for daily purchases). - Examination fees (for Grade 10 MYP eAssessment and Grade 12 IBDP exam components), field trips, and certain extracurricular or optional programme costs are charged in addition to the Annual Fee as applicable. - The Annual Fee explicitly includes textbooks (including IBDP), basic exercise books, three sets of essential uniforms, two sports uniforms, use of laboratories, computer centres, libraries, swimming pool and gymnasium, and consumables for art/design/DRAMA.
Refund information
- Fees once paid are stated as non‑refundable under the school's published terms, with the exception that the Security Deposit is refundable (without interest) after adjustment of any dues when the student leaves.
Fee payment options
- The Application Processing Fee may be paid by credit card or by demand draft. Other fees are payable in Indian Rupees or Euros as applicable; the published information specifies these currencies and the time frame for payment but does not publish a complete list of every accepted payment instrument (e.g., specific bank transfer instructions) in the publicly available fee summary.
Brief note on available published detail
- The school provides clear published annual and one‑time fee figures and specifies payment timing and a small number of payment methods for the Application Processing Fee. The school's publicly published materials list annual (yearly) tuition amounts but do not provide a term‑by‑term fee schedule or a detailed installment plan in the publicly available fee summary; therefore a per‑term numeric breakdown is not available in the published fee summary.
- The school publishes annual charges and permits payment of the annual fee in multiple instalments (annual fees may be paid in three instalments). - If the published annual fee is paid in three equal instalments (simple equal split), the instalment amounts would be approximately: - For IB DP (INR 850,000/year): ~INR 283,333 per instalment. (This per-instalment figure is a simple equal split calculation based on the published annual charge and is provided for budgeting clarity.) - For IGCSE (INR 800,000/year): ~INR 266,667 per instalment. (Simple equal split calculation.)
Additional / one-off / recurring charges
- ‘Other fees' or recurring non-tuition charges: published examples show an additional annual charge around INR 30,000 (may cover incidental school charges, student activity funds, or similar). - Imprest / security / caution-type amount: fee summaries used in the school's total first-year estimates include an ‘imprest' or house‑account amount as part of first-year costs; this is commonly treated as a one-time imprest/security payment. Exact label and treatment vary by intake year. - Sibling concession: an example published concession is INR 30,000 for a second child (where a concession is applied).
Estimated total first-year cost (boarding) — examples published
- Published estimates for the total first-year cost (including one-time admission charges, imprest and the annual fee) typically fall in the band of about INR 835,000 to INR 985,000 for new admissions; individual totals depend on programme and exact one-time charges applied.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Academic year and billing cycle: the academic session runs June to May; annual fees are published for the session and may be payable yearly or in instalments. - Instalment option: annual fees may be paid in up to three instalments (school documentation shows the annual fee can be split into three instalments). Parents are typically required to pay the first instalment / confirmation amount on the day admission is accepted. - Payment on acceptance: the first instalment / seat-confirmation payment is required at the time an offer is accepted; non-payment may forfeit the offer.
Boarding / hostel charges and inclusions
- The school operates as a full boarding campus; boarding services are included within the published annual boarding fees noted above. Boarding inclusions listed with the composite fee commonly cover dormitory accommodation, three main meals plus snacks and bedtime milk, laundry basics, pastoral supervision and on‑site basic medical support. - Boarding seats availability and per‑year boarding seat counts are published by the school for planning; parents should budget the full annual boarding fee shown under the relevant programme.
Other costs to budget for
- Uniforms and materials: uniforms, house uniforms, shoes, socks, jackets, and standard bedding/uniform items are listed among materials parents must provide or that are charged. Textbooks, notebooks and stationery are separate line items in many years' schedules. - Examination and external test fees: external examination fees (board/IB/IGCSE/other exam charges) and competitive exam coaching (if taken) are billed separately as applicable. - Educational trips, adventure trips and optional external activities are typically charged over and above the published annual fee.
Refund and non‑refundable items
- Prospectus/admission form and the initial registration charges are published as non‑refundable in the school's admission materials (the prospectus/admission form fee and the initial registration fee are described as non‑refundable). - Treat any one-time admission/registration charges and any programme-specific non-refundable items as non-refundable unless the school's formal written admission offer or fee policy explicitly states otherwise. (Parents should note the published labels such as “non-refundable” on those charges.)
Fee payment options accepted
- Bank transfer / electronic payment: the school's published fee schedule includes bank details for electronic transfers (accepts NEFT/RTGS/IMPS). - Cheque, cash and IMPS are listed as acceptable payment methods for admission / instalment payments in admission communications; electronic bank transfer methods are commonly used for routine fee remittance.
Notes for budgeting (concise)
- Expect the full first‑year cost for boarding students to include: registration/application charge, one-time admission seat-confirmation charge, any imprest/security amount, and the published annual composite boarding fee. Example published annual composite figures for boarding fall in the range INR 800,000–850,000 depending on board/programme.

Special educational needs (SEN)
Special educational needs (SEN)
The Learning Support Department comprises certified special education teachers, licensed school counsellors, and occupational therapy professionals. It promotes inclusive education through differentiated instruction and learning support, using push-in, pull-out, and mixed models. Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) are developed for students needing targeted support, with collaboration among educators, families, and, when appropriate, outside professionals; accommodations (e.g., readers/writers, assistive technology) and related services may be provided, with confidentiality maintained.
Special educational needs (SEN)
At SGIS Pune, a learning disability does not define a child's intelligence. Many children with learning differences possess remarkable intellect, creativity, and problem-solving abilities; their brains may process information differently due to neurological factors. Early identification is crucial, with a focus on evaluations to provide tailored support, strategies, and tools to help each child thrive. SGIS Pune champions inclusive education and innovative teaching methods designed to transform learning into an engaging journey. The school aims to build confidence through inclusive education.

Safeguarding
The Child Safeguarding Policy commits to protecting students' health, safety and welfare, with a Code of Conduct for staff, ongoing safeguarding procedures, and UNCRC-based guidance. A designated Child Protection Officer (CPO) and the Principal/CEO handle safeguarding concerns, and concerns can be reported by students to a trusted adult; anonymous reporting is not encouraged to ensure thorough investigation.
