It is aligned with the English National Curriculum and emphasises bilingualism in Portuguese and English to enable fluent oral and written communication across Humanities and Sciences. Core elements are English and Portuguese Languages and Mathematics and Sciences, complemented by English Literature, a Foreign Language, Geography and History. Arts are integrated to develop intellectual, moral and aesthetic growth through music, literature, drama and visual arts, and parental involvement is encouraged in education. The aim is to prepare bilingual pupils who combine humanistic culture with solid scientific, technological and artistic knowledge to become future citizens.
