What the Consolidated (Program) Fee Covers
- The consolidated fee covers items such as most school supplies, school‑based technology, most field trips, many activities, outdoor excursions, and the yearbook (coverage varies by grade).
Entry Bond / Donation Program
- Each new family is required to participate in the Entry Bond Program with two options: a donation (tax‑receipted) or a refundable family bond held during the family's time at the School. The required amounts by entry grade band are:
- Kindergarten to Grade 9: Donation USD 15,000 or Bond USD 20,000.
- Grade 10 to Grade 12: Donation USD 5,000 or Bond USD 10,000.
Grade 12 IB Subject and Exam Fees
- IB subject and exam fees are charged separately by the IB Organization and are incremental to Brockton tuition and consolidated fees. For a full Grade 12 IB load (six subjects plus core), subject/exam fees are approximately USD 1,400 (charged in USD). These IB fees are invoiced after course selection and timetabling.
Other Fees and Typical Additional Costs
- Optional trips, after‑school care (Cub Care/Cub Club), certain co‑curricular activities, hot lunch, and special excursions may incur additional charges. Uniforms are required and are purchased through the school supplier or the school's second‑hand shop; final uniform cost depends on pieces purchased. Students in Grades 6–12 are expected to bring their own laptop.
Billing Schedule and Payment Terms
- A tuition deposit and any applicable new student fee must be paid upon acceptance of an offer to secure a place; deadlines are communicated in the offer letter.
- Extended payment option: families may spread tuition over eight monthly installments running from May to December.
- IB subject/exam fees are invoiced separately after course selection and are not due with the initial tuition balance.
Boarding
- Brockton operates as a day school; students must live with a parent or legal guardian or an approved homestay arrangement. No boarding fees apply.
Refund Information
- The following are explicitly non‑refundable: application fee (USD 350) and the new student fee (Domestic USD 3,000; International USD 3,500). IB subject/exam fees are charged separately and follow IB invoicing procedures. (Deposit/new‑student payment deadlines are specified in the offer of admission.)
Fee Payment Options
- Payment methods referenced for school giving and transactions include cheque, credit card, e‑transfer, and Flywire; families may use the school's invoicing and payment processes for tuition and associated fees and should confirm available methods for tuition specifically.
Notes for Parents (practical points)
- Application and new student fees are required when applying and when accepting an offer; the tuition deposit secures the place.
- Consolidated/program fees are charged per student and cover many in‑school supplies and activities but do not include some optional trips, IB exam fees, or personal items such as laptops and additional uniform pieces.
