Application fees
- An application fee is required as part of the Albert College application process. The published enrolment information refers to submission of an application fee but does not list a public fixed amount for that application fee.
One-time enrolment / acceptance fees (new students)
- One-Time Enrolment Fee (new students) — CAD 5,000 for most entry levels. (Different one-time enrolment amounts are published for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten day students; see Day Students below.)
Annual tuition fees — Boarding (Full and Multi-Day; Grades 7–12)
- International boarding students: Grades 7–8 — CAD 86,300; Grades 9–12 — CAD 94,000. Expense advance for international boarders — CAD 3,000.
- Canadian boarding students (full boarding): Grades 7–8 — CAD 69,900; Grades 9–12 — CAD 81,300. Expense advance for Canadian boarders — CAD 2,000.
- Five‑day Canadian boarding: Grades 7–8 — CAD 53,600; Grades 9–12 — CAD 60,300. Expense advance for five‑day boarders — CAD 2,000. (Flexible multi-day boarding options are also offered; families are directed to the enrolment office for details.)
- What is included in boarding tuition: meals and accommodations, program-related activities (camp, enrichment, leadership program, travel and required admission fees for athletic/cultural programs and some weekend social events), library and technology services, health and wellness services, yearbook and student photographs. Break-weekend programming and fees are charged by offering/registration.
Annual tuition fees — Day students (Pre‑K to Grade 12)
- Pre‑Kindergarten (day) — CAD 24,400.
- Junior Kindergarten – Grade 6 (day) — CAD 24,400.
- Grades 7–8 (day) — CAD 30,600.
- Grades 9–12 (day) — CAD 34,400.
- International day students: JK–Grade 6 — CAD 35,100; Grades 7–8 — CAD 41,300; Grades 9–12 — CAD 45,100. These international day tuition amounts cover daily lunches and the same program-related inclusions listed for day students.
Day-student one-time enrolment fees (new students)
- Pre‑Kindergarten — CAD 2,000.
- Junior and Senior Kindergarten — CAD 3,000.
- Grades 1–12 — CAD 5,000.
English as a Second Language (ESL) and related fees
- ESL for Middle School (Grades 7–8) — CAD 2,500.
- ESL for Senior School (Grades 9–12) — CAD 3,000.
- English Language Preparation and Testing (ELPT): Fall program (includes two tests) — CAD 1,000; Spring program (one test) — CAD 600. ESL Summer School tuition (published separately) is also listed for the school's summer program.
After‑school, extended care, and transport (day students)
- After School Care (JK–Grade 6): Annual — CAD 1,720; Daily drop‑in — CAD 12.
- Extended Care: Daily — CAD 50; Per week — CAD 200.
- Busing (examples by route): Prince Edward County – West: occasional one way CAD 15 per ride; one‑way full‑time CAD 1,100; full‑time CAD 2,200. Other routes listed with per‑ride and full‑time rates (Prince Edward County – East, Napanee, Kingston) with amounts shown on the published tuition page.
Other costs and routine charges
- Expense advance / incidental deposit: Boarding students are required to pay an expense advance (amounts shown above: CAD 2,000–3,000 depending on status) which is applied to incidental charges during the year.
- Uniforms: Uniforms are sold through the Guild Shop on campus; families purchase required uniform pieces directly from the Guild Shop. Specific uniform item prices are handled through the Guild Shop.
- Co‑curricular extras and some weekend/social committee events, optional trips and special program charges may be billed separately where noted. Yearbook and student photographs are included in tuition.
- Sibling discounts: Day student family discount — CAD 1,000 off per sibling; Canadian and international boarding student family discount — CAD 2,000 off per sibling.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Specific published instalment dates and a detailed billing calendar are not provided on the public tuition pages; families are billed through the school's finance/enrolment process and the school offers typical payment channels and instalment services for Canadian and international families.
Fee payment options and transaction charges
- Canadian payment options: online bill payment through major Canadian banks (CIBC, BMO, TD, Scotiabank, RBC), cheque from a Canadian bank, credit card, and Flywire.
- International payment options: credit card, Flywire, and PayMyTuition. Flywire and PayMyTuition apply a convenience fee; Flywire may require Student ID and fee schedule documentation.
- Credit card payments: a 3% convenience fee is added to student accounts for tuition payments made by credit card.
Refund information
- No public, line‑by‑line refund or withdrawal schedule for tuition, enrolment fees or deposits is published on the publicly available tuition and payments pages; refund and withdrawal terms are managed through the school's enrolment/finance process and are set out in the enrolment/financial paperwork provided to families at registration.
