Billing schedule and payment terms

- Accounts are binding for one academic year; parents/guardians are financially responsible for the full year's fees regardless of absence, withdrawal, dismissal or force majeure, subject to the school's contractual removal/refund provisions. In order to receive year‑end report cards, outstanding accounts must be settled by the date stated in the applicable registration agreement. Interest accrues on unpaid amounts at 1.5% per month; NSF cheques incur a CAD 50.00 fee.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not applicable. The Maples Academy is a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 day school; no boarding fees are listed.
Other costs and fees
- Uniforms: Students are required to own specified uniform pieces (different lists for JK–3 and Grades 4–8). Uniform items include crested shirts, navy sweaters/vests, blazers for older grades, gym uniform pieces, ties and dress shoes as specified. The school's approved supplier is Multiform Canada; uniforms can be purchased online via the supplier or through in‑school fittings when arranged.
- Application / registration deposit: a deposit cheque is required as part of the application/registration process. Separate child‑care or program registration/deposit requirements apply for the Maples Child Care Centre.
- Other routine fees shown in registration materials: CAD 50.00 NSF fee; incidental charges (for example, specific program, activity or rental fees) may be billed separately as needed. Void cheque required for payment plans.
Refund information
- The registration agreement states that the obligation to pay fees for the full academic year is unconditional and that no portion of fees will be refunded or cancelled in the event of force majeure, absence, withdrawal, or dismissal, subject to the school's contractual terms. The registration materials also note limited circumstances where, at the school's discretion, remaining tuition fees may be refunded (for example, upon removal by the school). Withdrawal provisions in registration documents require one month's prior written notice in many cases and specify that deposits and monies paid to the end of the notice month are non‑refundable while pre‑authorized debits for remaining months will be cancelled in writing.
Fee payment options
- Accepted payment methods listed in the school's registration materials include cash, money order or cheque payable to The Maples Academy, and pre‑authorized debit (void cheque / bank details required). The registration documents and payment forms describe automatic debit setups and the dates on which debits occur. No general credit‑card payment amounts or card‑processing details are shown in the published registration materials.
Notes
- The registration and tuition documents include contractual terms (binding registration, payment schedules, interest on arrears, NSF fees, and withdrawal/notice clauses) that govern payment and refund handling. The school's uniform policy specifies required items and an approved supplier.
