History
The New Filipino Private School is one of the very first Filipino schools in the United Arab Emirates to be licensed to operate using the Filipino Curriculum by the Ministry of Education, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates in September 1996 and by the Department of Education, Manila, Philippines on 15 October 1996. It was founded by Ms. Aghsan Musa and family. Its first year of operation was launched on 14 September 1996. It was initially manned by twenty-one (21) well-experienced and highly qualified teachers sourced from Manila. The school is currently located in Dasman, Sharjah, making it accessible to Filipino communities across Sharjah, Dubai, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Ras Al Khaimah. On September 12, 2022, NFPS was acquired by new owners Mr. Ahmed Alansaari together with Mrs. Maria Teresa Sales Alansaari.

Community
The NFPS serves as a catalyst for harmonious relationships within the Filipino community, preserves the community's Filipino identity, and promotes awareness and respect for host country customs and traditions. Facilities Overview

1. Application and Registration of New Students. The announcement for the date of applications is made through administrative letters. The age limit is 4 years old for KG 1 and 5 years old for KG 2 at the opening of the school year. The procedure is: the School Registrar provides an Application Form, the Registration Form is filled at the Admissions Office, and all documents are presented for verification. 2. Basic documents required. The required documents include: the original Emirates ID of the student; a valid copy of the student's passport, visa, and Emirates ID (front and back); a copy of the student's birth certificate; five passport-sized photographs; copies of medical records (immunization/vaccination); valid copies of the father's and mother's passports, visas, and Emirates IDs (front and back). 3. Documents from previous school. The originals needed are: Report Card/SF9; Form-137/SF10; Good Moral Character Certificate; an original Transfer Certificate; Original Apostille/Authenticated Form-137/SF10, Report Card/SF9 & Diploma (these must go through the Department of Education, the Department of Foreign Affairs, and the UAE Embassy in the Philippines); and scholastic records authenticated by the MOE of the respective country and by the UAE Embassy. 4.
