Admissions

Admissions

1. Enquiry & Registration. Enquiries are made through social media and the school's website, and registrations can be completed at the school office during normal working hours. This initial contact helps establish interest and check current seat availability. 2. Application Shortlisting & Age Criteria. Online and offline applications are shortlisted based on seat availability, achievement of the age criteria, and submission of the required documents. Siblings and children of staff receive preference, and the process follows the SPEA guidelines for admission. Age criteria are applied with marks such as “as of August 31” cut-offs to determine eligibility. 3. Interaction & Assessment. For FS1 and FS2, a member of the Academic Team meets the family and the Principal meets the parents during admission. A screening and placement assessment determines the appropriate class placement, and a placement test is conducted for Year 2 and above. 4. Admission Completion & Documents. Admission is considered complete after the assessment and Principal's approval, and an Admission Number and student file are created. Required documents include: completed Admission Form, copies of passports with valid visas, Emirates IDs, five passport photos, vaccination card, birth certificate, the previous school's mark sheet, an attested transfer certificate (if from outside the UAE), and a medical file if available. 5. Transfer Certificate. For students currently studying in UAE, the Transfer Certificate must be attested by the relevant authorities; for students from abroad, the certificate must be attested by the appropriate ministry or education board, the District Education Officer, UAE Embassy, and the MOFA in the UAE. 6. Admission Fee. The Admission Fee is AED 500, payable at admission completion. The fee is refundable if no seat is offered, or if a seat is offered and the family does not take it; it is non-refundable if a seat is offered and the family chooses not to enroll. 7. Withdrawals. If a parent withdraws a child, a month's notice is required. The parent completes the TC application form, pays any TC fee, and the TC is issued once outstanding fees are cleared; the school contacts the parent when the TC is ready. 8. Removal from the School Rolls. A student's name is struck off for 15 consecutive days of unexplained absence, repeated failure in any year, or gross misconduct. Re-admission may be considered at the Principal's discretion after completing the admission formalities.
