Notes on the above tuition figures and per-term presentation

- The amounts listed above are the published annual tuition figures for each year group and curriculum. The per-term figures shown are the annual tuition divided by three to show a standard three-instalment equivalent for budgeting (illustrative per-term amounts). UAE school billing commonly uses multi-instalment schedules; parents should note the school requires a registration payment and an advance tuition payment when admission is confirmed.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- At admission: payment of the non-refundable registration fee (AED 500) plus one month's advance tuition is required to secure a place.

- Instalments and timing: the school publishes annual tuition and operates scheduled billing; many UAE schools (and GEMS-managed schools) collect tuition either in full or in instalments across the year (commonly split across three instalments). The precise instalment percentages and due dates (for example a 40%/30%/30% or three equal instalments schedule) are set by the school's accounts office and appear on the school's fee invoices and instalment plan.

Boarding / Accommodation Fees

- Boarding is not applicable: Our Own English High School, Fujairah operates as a day school. No boarding fees apply.

Other costs and fees (charged separately)

- School transport (bus): transport services are available and are charged separately on a route-by-route basis. Bus charges are billed independently of tuition and vary by route/stop and service level.

- Textbooks, workbooks and stationery: charged separately (book/consumables charges applied annually or with the first instalment). Specific book charges vary by grade and curriculum.

- Uniform: school uniform requirements are in place; uniform purchase costs are separate from tuition and are billed or payable through the school's uniform supplier / school store.

- Examination / board fees: external examination fees (IGCSE/Cambridge or CBSE board/registration/exam charges) and optional assessment fees are billed in addition to tuition at the actual exam-provider rates.

- Miscellaneous charges: optional extra-curricular activities, field trips, specialised learning support and some elective resources may carry additional fees charged separately.

Refunds and withdrawal-related charges

- The registration fee (AED 500) is non-refundable. The school's admissions and fee policies set how any deposits or advance payments are applied; refunds or pro-rata tuition adjustments on withdrawal or mid-year departures are handled in accordance with the school's fee collection and regulatory requirements. UAE regulatory guidance requires schools to publish their fee and refund policies and to apply refunds or adjustments in line with official bylaws.

Fee payment options

- Accepted payment methods include cash, cheque, credit/debit card, bank transfer and online parent-portal payments (payment counters / bank details or the parent portal are used for invoice settlement). GEMS‑managed Our Own branch invoices show the same mix of payment methods and an option to use partner bank credit-card instalment plans in some cases. Cheques are typically required to be in the school's name and post‑dated cheques are commonly not accepted.

- Payment receipts and bank details are issued on school invoices; fee invoices show the accepted payment channels and any administrative charges (for example bounced-cheque fees) where applicable.

Summary for parents

- Registration: AED 500 (non-refundable) + one month advance tuition on admission.
- Annual tuition: listed above per year group and curriculum (IGCSE and CBSE annual figures). Per-term amounts are shown as the annual tuition divided by three to illustrate a common three-instalment budgeting approach.
- Boarding: not applicable (day school).
- Other charges (transport, books, uniform, exam fees, activities) are additional and billed separately.
