History
Pechersk School International Kyiv opened in Kyiv in 1995 by a group of parents seeking a genuinely international education. It is a not-for-profit international school and the first full IB World School in Ukraine. It is the only school in Ukraine authorised to teach all three International Baccalaureate programmes: the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. In addition to the IB, PSI offers an additional general education programme accepted by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. PSI Kyiv has NEASC accreditation since 2003.

PSI is located in the Holosiivska district. The campus comprises three blocks for Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary, with specialist facilities to support events, meetings and extracurricular activities. Our spaces include dedicated Early Years classrooms, Primary classrooms, and Secondary classrooms, as well as Art and Music spaces, a Primary library, and a Makerspace that encourages hands-on learning. The campus features specialist facilities such as an aquatics centre, a fully equipped bomb shelter, and a 1,000-square-meter double gymnasium with a climbing wall. The most recent building project, completed in 2017, added modern, purpose-built facilities to support learning, and safety and sustainability are priorities with ongoing upgrades, including three authorised bomb shelters, a power generator, and a security team with CCTV and a controlled entrance.

The athletics and physical education facilities include a 25-meter heated swimming pool and a 1,000-square-meter double gymnasium with a climbing wall. The campus supports indoor spaces for physical education and sport as part of the dedicated facilities across the Primary and Secondary blocks.
