Deutsche Schule Kyjiw is a private German-Ukrainian school in Kyiv for students aged 1 to 18. Billing schedule and payment terms
- Invoices are issued in four instalments using the following split of the total annual tuition: 10% for September; 30% for October–December; 30% for January–March; 30% for April–June.
- Due dates: the September portion is due by 15 August. The remaining instalments are due quarterly on the 15th day after the start of each quarter. If the contract is concluded after 15 August, the tuition becomes due within 5 bank business days after invoice issuance.
- Payment by half‑year is accepted (half‑year amounts may be transferred as a single payment). A 6% reduction of the annual tuition is applied when the full annual tuition is paid in full within two weeks after the start of the school year; a 3% reduction is applied when the half‑year tuition is paid in full within two weeks after the start of the respective half‑year.
- Monthly payment is possible only by written application; a fee of EUR 20 applies for monthly instalment handling. If monthly payment is approved, monthly tuition is due by the 15th of each month. Late payment is considered a default after the specified due dates.

Boarding / accommodation fees

- Sibling discounts: the second child receives a 10% reduction on tuition; the third and each further child receive a 15% reduction. The oldest child counts as the first child. No sibling discount is granted if tuition is paid by an employer.

Refunds, reductions and absence rules
- The admission (registration) fee is non‑refundable.
- Short absences: if a pupil leaves the school for up to 4 weeks (e.g., exchange, short stay elsewhere, illness), the full annual tuition remains payable. For continuous absences longer than 5 weeks, the school may proportionally reduce the tuition; a formal written application with documentation must be submitted (medical certificates or other supporting documents as required). Periods that overlap approved school holidays are not counted toward the 5‑week absence period.

Late payment and collection charges
- If payment is overdue, a reminder letter is issued from the 16th calendar day of default; continued non‑payment can lead to exclusion of the pupil from the school after warning. A reminder fee of EUR 50 (in UAH equivalent for local accounts) is charged per reminder. Interest on overdue amounts is charged at a rate equal to twice the discount rate of the National Bank of Ukraine for each day of delay.
