Introduction

American School of Bangkok Green Valley (ASBGV) is an international day and boarding school serving ages 2 to 18. Billing Schedule & Payment Terms
- New students must pay the Registration Fee, Refundable Deposit, and Campus Development Fee upon enrollment.
- Tuition and transportation fees may be paid per semester or per year; invoices are issued in advance of each new semester and payment must be made by the deadline stated on the invoice.
- A penalty of 1.25% per month applies to late payments unless prior arrangements have been made with the finance office.
- A written notice of 30 days prior to formal withdrawal is required.
- All fees are subject to change.

Refunds
- The Refundable Deposit is refundable.
- The one-time Campus Development Fee option of THB 150,000 is refundable; the annual THB 20,000 Campus Development Fee option is non-refundable.
- Except for the refundable deposit and the refundable THB 150,000 Campus Development Fee option, all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)
Social-Emotional Learning is implemented as part of the counseling curriculum at ASBGV. The SEL model is based on CASEL research. The Advisory Program for Grades 9–12 provides Social/Emotional Learning, Career and College Counseling, Health, and Mindfulness to promote holistic growth. The Student Services office coordinates with other departments to support students' personal, social, and emotional development and address related concerns. The program emphasizes helping students recognize and manage emotions, develop empathy, make responsible decisions, build positive relationships, and navigate challenges.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)
ASBGV follows an inclusive education approach with dedicated Learning Support Teachers for each grade in Elementary, Middle, and High School. Students learn in mainstream classes with supports from classroom teachers and learning support teachers. Learning Support provides differentiation and resources, and small-group pull-out support is available as needed. Middle School and High School learning support students receive an extra study skills or executive functioning class. Students with learning needs have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) detailing goals, accommodations, and modifications, and all teachers follow the IEP to support learning.

Parent Experience

History
The American School of Bangkok was founded in 1983 and was originally named Didyasarin International Kindergarten. In 1995 the school expanded to serve elementary students. In 1997 the Green Valley Campus opened with a capacity for 2,000 students from pre-kindergarten to high school. In 2000 the school became a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS) and received accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Today, ASBGV is recognized as one of the top international schools in Thailand and strives to holistically educate all students for a future that is constantly changing.

Community
ASBGV students participate in a variety of academic activities throughout the school year, including literacy events, science fairs, and non-academic activities such as cultural events celebrating the school's diversity and a wide variety of sports.
