Discounts and sibling reductions
- For three or more children enrolled at the school, there is a 25% discount on the tuition fee for each child (the first and second child pay full tuition). The first child is defined as the oldest child attending ISR in the given year.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition and Capital Fund fees are due before the first day of classes in August. All other invoices are payable as stated on the invoice.
- Monthly instalment option: Tuition may be paid in up to nine monthly payments; the final instalment must be made in April and a surcharge of 3.5% of the tuition fee is charged for the instalment plan. A late-payment charge of 1% per month applies to overdue balances. Alternative payment arrangements require written approval from the school.
- Late enrolment billing: Students enrolling after the school year start are charged a pro rata percentage of the annual tuition depending on the enrolment date (100% before 15 Nov; 75% after 15 Nov; 65% after 1 Jan; 45% after 1 Mar; 25% between 1 May and year end in long-term commitments).

Refunds and withdrawal penalties
- Early withdrawal fees (partial-year charges) are applied by date of withdrawal: withdrawing between 1 April 2026 and before the first day of classes incurs 25% of the annual tuition; withdrawing before 15 Nov: 45%; before 1 Jan: 65%; before 1 Mar: 75%; after 1 Mar: 100% of the annual tuition. Notification of leaving is required by March 31 each school year for exemption from fees for the following school year. No refund of fees will be issued if the school is forced to close due to circumstances beyond its control. Bus fees and some other services may not be refunded for withdrawal during a semester; pro rata billing applies for mid-year enrolment.

- Boarding is not provided; ISR is a day school only. There are no boarding fees. Students must live within commuting distance; the school operates a shuttle/bus service where available.

The PTG consists of parents, teachers, PYP, MYP and DP coordinators, the school director and the parent representatives of the board. ISR parents are encouraged to join the PTG. ISR's campus is a modern, sustainable three-story building opened for the 2023/2024 school year. The design was by Kämpfen Zinke + Partner and was funded with support from the Hilti Family Foundation Liechtenstein. The timber building features a 1000 m2 roof terrace with a solar installation, biodiversity-friendly landscaping, and natural ventilation. Inside, there are bright, high classrooms with outdoor access, a design and art studio, three laboratories, a large competition-size double gym with a stage, a Learning Hub and library, and dedicated music, theatre and rehearsal spaces, with more than 40 learning spaces. The atrium provides natural light throughout, there is a generous entrance, underground parking, a drop-off zone, and high safety measures, and the campus shares sports facilities with the Hanflandschule and the municipality of Buchs to support community use.

Sports Facilities

The campus includes a large, competition-size double gymnasium with a stage for assemblies and performances. The sports field is shared with the Hanflandschule. The sports halls are shared with the municipality of Buchs. For swimming and physical education, ISR uses local sports facilities.

Three laboratories are available on site. A design and arts studio is provided. A well-equipped fitness room, two music rehearsal rooms, and a music/theatre space are available. Language Provision

English is the language of instruction. German is the host-country language and is taught from Kindergarten through Grade 12, and French is taught as a foreign language (Grade 5 onward). 1. ISR is non-selective and welcomes all families with children aged 3 to 19 who share the school's vision and mission. Applications are accepted year‑round, provided spaces are available, and the school offers support to make entry as simple as possible. 2. To determine the appropriate grade for a child, use the admissions calculator and start by entering the child's date of birth to reveal the key steps to joining. 3. To apply, read and complete the application form and the financial regulations, and pay the application fee; submissions can be made by email or in paper form. 4. Documentation must include a completed application with a photo, copies of the student's passport, the signed ICT form, school records for the last three years, and any relevant education plans or standardized tests; assessments in English, mathematics and non‑verbal reasoning may be requested, and a personal interview is desirable. 5. Admissions decisions are reviewed by the Admissions Lead, the Head of School, and the Director; final admission rests with the Director and may be conditional, with a six‑week trial period in the assigned class mandatory before full entry. 6. A capital Fund Fee and the application fee are payable to reserve the place if admission is offered. 7. The school conducts a six‑week trial in the assigned class, and entry can occur at any time if there is a vacancy in the child's year group. 8. ISR operates as a day school (not a boarding school). 9. Scholarships

The ISR Academic Scholarship Programme offers full or partial financial support for school fees for three years from Grade 10 through Grade 12. The programme is funded through donations from the Hilti Foundation and other donors, as well as ISR fundraising activities and community contributions.
