Internationella Engelska Skolan Sundsvall is a bilingual Swedish-English school for students in years 3 to 9. The school follows the Swedish national curriculum, with up to half of the lessons delivered in English. English instruction is taught by qualified teachers from English-speaking countries, including Canada, the USA, and the UK. Established in 2009, the campus offers a safe and calm environment that supports focused teaching and learning. The school emphasizes a solid foundation for the future, combining Swedish and English language learning within one curriculum. A distinctive feature is the possibility for students to study Cambridge IGCSE exams at many IES schools, providing an international qualification option. Support is organized through a strong student care team and a mentor system that links school and home. Extra-curricular life includes Junior Club with dancing and crafts, The Great Debate, and Lunch Gig, alongside house competitions, pastoral care, and nutritious meals for students.
