Internationella Engelska Skolan Solna is a bilingual Swedish school serving students in grades 4 to 9. The curriculum blends the Swedish national program with a bespoke framework and Cambridge IGCSE pathways, giving students a solid national foundation alongside international examination options. Up to half of instructional time is delivered in English by teachers from English-speaking countries, including Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, reinforcing language skills and cross-cultural understanding. The school teaches in Swedish but uses immersion to help students command both languages fluently. Modern languages offered include Spanish, French and German. Facilities include a gym for sports and after-school activities, a well equipped library and a range of after-school clubs. The school runs Fritids for younger students and Junior Club for primary levels, with activities from arts and crafts to sports, music and baking. Community is fostered through four houses, a PTA and the Student Health team.
