Internationella Engelska Skolan Södra Änggården is a bilingual school in Västra Frölunda, Gothenburg, Sweden, serving students from preschool class (F) to year 9. The school follows the Swedish national curriculum, with up to half of the teaching delivered in English by qualified teachers from Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. Opened in August 2024, it is planned to grow to F–9 with about 900 students including fritids provision and three classes per year group by 2026. The building is environmentally certified and situated next to Änggårdsbergen nature areas, with a design that integrates terrain to encourage play and exploration. Facilities include an on-site kitchen, a well-designed schoolyard and a dedicated sports hall, complemented by a large rooftop area for activities and socialising. The school prioritises a calm, safe, and supportive learning environment that prepares students for higher education, working life and society through a strong bilingual program today.
