1. Eligibility and year levels. The IB program accepts applicants to Grade 10 (Pre-DP) or Grade 11 (IB Diploma). Applicants must be under 20 years old, and may be considered regardless of prior schooling, including applicants from any type of school. 2. How to apply. Applications are submitted via APPLY HERE. Grade 10 applications involve the City of Gothenburg admissions system and INDRA; it is through INDRA that applicants learn whether a place is offered or a reserve list placement. A placement test is required. Applicants send the latest grade report, which should be on school letterhead and translated into English by someone at the school, signed by the translator and by their role at the school. 3. When to apply. Outside Sweden, February 2 is the deadline for the following school year starting in August. This is the latest deadline if the stay in Sweden depends on obtaining a place. It can take up to four months to process a residence permit. Inside the EU, June 1 is the absolute latest to apply so that placement testing can be completed.
