Eleven years ago, in January 2015, a small family in Granada opened a Montessori school with three children in a small space in the city center, creating Granada's first Montessori school. The school moved to a permanent location a few months later and became Centro Montessori Galápagos, named in honor of the founder's love for the wild islands.
