Eurocampus Deutsche Schule Palma de Mallorca is a private German international school serving ages 3 to 18. The language of instruction is German, and the school follows the guidelines and curricula of recognized German Auslandsschulen on the Iberian Peninsula. Deposits / Guarantee (Ausfallgarantie)

- At initial entry or re‑entry the school requires a security deposit equal to two current monthly tuition instalments. If the pupil participates in the school lunch scheme, two monthly meal payments are also required as part of the Ausfallgarantie. The deposit is adjusted annually to the current monthly rates. The deposit is not interest‑bearing. The deposit is refundable only after regular written withdrawal at the end of the school year and subject to compliance with the notice provisions and settlement of all outstanding obligations. The claim to reimbursement prescribes after four years.
- Kindergarten: two monthly kindergarten instalments (2 × €650 = €1,300) are held as the Ausfallgarantie; this guarantee is retained if the child leaves during the year or if a place reserved for September is not taken. The guarantee is returned only if the child completes the kindergarten year and the family has submitted proper written notice as required.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Regular payments (tuition, fees and other charges) are due monthly in advance by the 5th of the current month. For the kindergarten the monthly contribution is due by the 5th of each month. Tuition may alternatively be paid as an annual advance.
- All ongoing payments are to be made by bank transfer to the Deutsch‑Spanischer Schulverein (Überweisung). Failure to pay by the 6th of the month places the parents in default without a reminder; default interest is 5% per month. If payment is overdue by 14 days a reminder may be issued and a reminder fee of €39 per notice is chargeable. In case of judicial recovery of outstanding amounts, parents bear the collection costs. Non‑payment can lead to immediate exclusion from school and withholding of school reports until obligations are settled.

Refunds and cancellations

- Enrollment (Einschreibegebühren) fees (initial and recurring) are not refundable. The school association contribution is not refundable on withdrawal.
- Abmeldung (withdrawal) requires written notice with a three‑month termination period to the end of a month. For any month in which the pupil attends school for any part of that month the full monthly tuition is due. For the kindergarten, if a child leaves during the year, the kindergarten contribution is payable through the end of July if the withdrawal is given after June. Refund of the Ausfallgarantie is possible only after a regular written withdrawal and when no outstanding liabilities remain; otherwise the deposit is retained.
- Absences: for absences up to three months tuition and meal fees remain payable in full. For longer absences, reductions up to a maximum of 50% may be granted only in well‑founded individual cases by decision of the school board.

Admissions
Admission to the Eurocampus requires proficiency in German. Typically, school-ready children who are six years old by June 30 of the year are admitted; upon parental request, children who have demonstrated school readiness and whose birthday falls between July 1 and October 31 may also be admitted. Enrollment at Eurocampus 2025: Our new first-grade students were ceremonially enrolled. We warmly welcome all children and their families to our school community and wish them a joyful and successful start to their school career.
