Refund information and withdrawal / notice

Si no se notifica dentro de ese plazo, la cuota de matrícula no será reembolsada y podrán aplicarse tasas por falta de preaviso. Además, las bajas a mitad de curso no reducen la cantidad adeudada ni dan derecho a reembolso de las tasas pendientes. El depósito podrá retenerse para cubrir tasas por falta de preaviso.
- Exclusiones y suspensión: no corresponde reembolso ni condonación de tasas por exclusión, suspensión o expulsión del alumno/a durante el periodo en que se produzca la medida disciplinaria.

History
In 1961 the Ramón y Cajal School was founded, born from the vision of José Luis Sanz Sánchez, who led the center until 1996. His humanist spirit kept the school committed to the best education and allowed it to evolve through the different stages in line with the founder's vision. In 1996, his son Mariano Sanz Montesa assumed leadership of the center and continued to guide the project with the same humanist spirit and commitment to teaching. Since then, the school's philosophy has balanced tradition with ongoing innovation. In 2024 Belén Muñoz Viejo, deputy director for more than 20 years and a former pupil, assumed the Directorship under Inspired, reinforcing our commitment to continuous training and educational excellence, while the humanist and family spirit of the Sanz family remains a distinctive hallmark of our community.

Community
Not all of us learn in the same way or at the same pace. Some need extra help in certain aspects, with specific techniques or more individualized support. CRC has a team of educational psychologists who assist students in a highly specific and individualized way, with monitoring from the early years to detect learning needs and adapt to each child's characteristics. Facilities Overview
The school is located in central Madrid, in the Arturo Soria residential district, and benefits from convenient transport connections. In the main building, fully renovated in 2015, the central offices and the Primary, Secondary, and Baccalaureate levels are housed. A few meters away is the Infant School I (0-3 years) building and the Infant School II (3-6 years) building, where the youngest can enjoy an independent space adapted for them. The school combines innovation and tradition to offer an education of excellence. Our holistic approach ensures that every student develops their maximum potential in a motivating, inclusive environment with an international projection.

Academic Facilities
With the start of the 2022/23 academic year we implemented new active learning spaces, as shown in a series of videos. In the laboratories we increased space and the number of microscopes and other tools for students to practice what they learn. We introduced new safety measures such as emergency showers, reagent storage, acid and base cabinets, and a gas extraction hood. My First CRC is a new sustainable learning space built with natural materials, emphasizing transparency in learning and cross-ventilation across all classrooms. We used natural paints without parabens, ceilings with acoustic insulation from natural fibers, and wooden manipulatives to create an environmentally friendly learning environment. Solar panels have been installed at other centers to promote self-consumption and feed surplus energy into the grid.

Extra Curricular Facilities
CRC Music School CRC offers a wide range of extracurricular activities for students and families. Sports include swimming, pre-sport, judo, karate, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, yoga, skating, rhythmic gymnastics, circus, and pickleball. Activities cover ages from Infant I through Bachillerato. Arts and performing arts include drawing, journalism, and Educachef, as well as music programs such as piano, violin, cello, classical guitar, ukulele, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, electric guitar, bass, drums, language music, orchestra, Pop Band and Mini Pop Band, production and composition, and choir; with additional performing arts options like theatre in English, ballet, modern dance, and on-stage productions.
