History
San Cristóbal Centers began in 1970 as a project of D. Cristóbal Bellés Herrero and Dª Consuelo Gimeno Gimeno to educate children from early childhood to young adulthood. The first center opened in Castellón de la Plana in June 1970 as a tutoring academy at 32 Calle Tenerías; a six-story building followed in 1973 to host Administrative vocational training. In 1976 a 2,000 m2 plot in Rafalafena was acquired for a nursery, and preschool education expanded in 1978. A Tourism School opened in 1990 on Calle Lagasca, with Cristóbal and later his brother Juan Carlos joining the project. In 2003 a new complex on Calle San Jorge del Maestrazgo expanded Primary, ESO, Bachillerato and new Vocational Cycles; in 2025 the school was designated an IB World School, completing the IB continuum from early years to Bachillerato.
